Publisher Penguin Random House has announced a new young adult (YA) festival in partnership with retail chain Waterstones. Taking place on the 15th to 18th August, its line-up features bestselling YA authors including Karen M McManus, Marie Lu, Bea Fitzgerald, Joelle Wellington and more. The flagship event is being hosted by Waterstones Piccadilly on Thursday 17th August, with author panels, signings, workshops, games and giveaways.

Spitalfields New Kiosks
Spitalfields has just unveiled its new F&B units following an 18-month renovation. The food kiosks on Lamb Street will now play host to several new independent food vendors – some of which are entering the UK market for the first time. Names to look out for include Pizza Guys, Rudie’s Jerk Shack, Dos Mas Tacos, Ebby’s Kitchen and Duck Truck.

Post Malone’s fifth studio album dropped this month. The singer proudly notes that he plays guitar on every track, which gives the album a slightly softer feel in comparison to his past R&B/pop-inspired records. THE POP-UP:
Happy Endings x Pavilion
Happy Endings, known for its epic ice-cream sandwiches, has opened a pop-up soft serve bar at Pavilion in Victoria Park. Until the end of summer, the team will add a different ice-cream flavour to its menu each week – either choose a single flavour or ask for two to be mixed in its double flavour twist machine. You can also try ice-cream sandwiches – with flavours like raspberry ripple or lemon and brown sugar sandwiched between two malt biscuits.
