Forget Chinatown, Dim Sum Duck in King’s Cross has been popping off on TikTok. Everything looks delicious, especially the crispy duck. Get a selection of wontons, gyozas and dumplings, then try the sweet and spicy soup. Asian food has always been popular, but it’s definitely having a moment on socials. @GnochGnoch always has a rec or two up her sleeve, including Happy Lamb in Holborn for delicious hot pots. I hadn't heard of the dish until a friend took me here after tagging me in this TikTok. It’s so fun to cook everything tableside and try new flavours – plus, it’s a bargain.

The Saatchi Gallery has some of the best exhibitions in London, but I’m especially excited to see its new street art and graffiti exhibition, which has taken over the whole gallery for the first time. Art from around the world will be on display until May, but move fast as tickets are selling out... I’ve also just booked a candle making workshop at Earl of East at Coal Drops Yard. You can make your own scent before setting it in a bottle to take home. Perfect for a chilled date night.”

"As an East London girlie, I’m always on the hunt for new coffee and pastry places. Violet Cakes in Hackney is both aesthetically pleasing and (for now at least) under the radar. I love how chilled the vibe is on a Saturday afternoon – pick up a few cupcakes to enjoy over the weekend for a treat. TikTok is great for finding recommendations based on your location, which is how I found In Bloom & In Habit on Columbia Road, just a short walk from Violet Cakes. It’s a tiny shop with the sweetest selection of homeware, from squiggle candles to cool coffee cups. It also has rattan baskets and hand-painted tiles for something a bit different. Also out east is The Dalston Jazz Bar, a low-key venue with great music and drinks. It’s super casual, so you can wear trainers and jeans without feeling too dressed down. Always a win.

"I also have to mention HERE at Outernet, a live music venue in the West End. It's hosted some huge parties over the last few weeks, as well as gigs and club residencies. A great spot to visit when Printworks closes after its final season."

Daisy Lily's beading workshops have been in my saved folder for a while now. Perfect for a Saturday night with the girls, you can create fun jewellery while enjoying a few drinks. They’ve recently created a new session which also includes a Pilates class. My perfect kind of day. My algorithm shows me plenty of foodie hot spots, which is how I came across Dai Chi in Soho, which has a hidden room at the back of the restaurant for private dining. I'm keen to try its fusion Japanese/American menu which includes dishes like prawns with spicy mayo and sweet potato croquettes with sriracha. The space can host up to 12 people so I'm keeping it in mind for any birthdays or special occasions – just look at those interiors…

“Another Soho foodie find that's high on my must-try list is Rita's. I’ve heard lots of great things about its fried chicken roll and eggplant parmigiana – and don't get me started on how good the jalapeno popper drink looks. Finally, Babylon Park in Camden popped up on my FYP and I'm so intrigued. If you're looking for a fun London activity that's a bit different, the indoor theme park has a rollercoaster and loads of arcade games.”

“If you have a sweet tooth like me, you’ll love Fortitude Bakehouse. I tried the fluffy custard and apple morning bun which was recommended on TikTok. It was so delicious, and I’m excited to go back and try the other pastries and cakes, like the chocolate and hazelnut Danish. Then there’s Zephyr in Notting Hill which has been all over my feed. Perfect if you like aesthetically pleasing restaurants with great food, the interiors are so chic and the Greek-inspired menu features dishes like smoked aubergine with crispy onions and mushroom orzo pasta.

“For something a little bit different, you have to visit Strike which recently opened in Wandsworth. Expect fun games like bowling and darts, as well as amazing food and drinks. The atmosphere was so much fun, and I loved the retro vibe. One place that’s high on my list is Fairgame in Canary Wharf. It looks like it has the perfect combination of fairground games, tasty street food and good vibe – what more could you want for a fun night out with your friends?”

Perilla is somewhere I've been keen to try for ages. I love the interiors and all the personal touches, like how the cutlery and menu are stored in a little drawer under the table. The restaurant serves modern European dishes and everything changes regularly based on what’s in season. @Alanalavv has a lot of great recommendations, so her feed is definitely worth a scroll. Then there’s Sourdough Sophia in north London which is my go-to spot for a weekend coffee and treat. As the name suggests, the speciality is baked goods, and while its sourdough is reason enough to visit, don't miss out on its chocolate mousse tart, Ferroro Rocher cruffin and jam filled doughnuts. Lastly, I recently came across Here at Outernet – a cool under-the-radar going out spot, the venue hosts some seriously cool parties and raves. It’s just a short walk from Tottenham Court Road station, so I’m keeping my eyes peeled for the next big event.”
