The Social Media Launch:

Threads

Posited as an alternative to Twitter – now owned by Elon Musk – Threads is a new social app from Mark Zuckerberg and the Meta team where communities are encouraged to discuss everything from the topics you care about today to what’ll be trending tomorrow. Musk has already launched a legal challenge to the new app, alleging it impinges on the intellectual property of Twitter, but it’s estimated more than 10m people have already signed up to Threads.

The Podcast:

The Break

Patricia Bright is the YouTube sensation behind The Break – an online learning and networking platform for women to help them become more productive and in control of their financial future. Now, she’s launched a new series of her podcast of the same name, where she interviews some of the UK’s most dynamic entrepreneurs to find out how they turned their ideas into reality. We recommend listening to the latest episode, which sees Patricia sit down with Krissy Cela, founder of ONER active, to understand how her immigrant mentality has played into her success.

The Book:

The Diary of a CEO: The 33 Laws of Business & Life

This new book from entrepreneur, podcaster and Dragon's Den star Steven Bartlett drops next month – but it isn’t your average strategy tome. According to Steven, strategy changes like the seasons, and this book is about something much more permanent – a set of principles that can stand the test of time, apply to any industry, and be used by anyone who is building something great or becoming someone great. These fundamental laws are rooted in psychology and behavioural science. They draw from the wisdom of tens of thousands of people across every continent and age group, as well as from the conversations Steven’s had on his chart-topping podcast.
