Post summer, we all suffer from dull, tired skin, but there’s a host of new launches this autumn that can help. From Vieve’s radiance-boosting foundation to No7’s new and affordable cream blushers, these are the latest products that will help keep your complexion looking and feeling fresh.

The Blush…

Velvet Cloud Cream To Powder Blush, £12.30 (was £12.95) | No7

Soft and bouncy, these blushers from No7 are satisfying to apply and have a velvety dry down that stays pigmented for hours. They offer the glow of a cream but the longevity of a powder, without ever settling into fine lines. We love the way they maintain their smooth quality.

The Drops…

Illuminizing Blendrops SPF40, £35 | BeautyBio

Acting as both a primer and highlighter, this silky base goes a long way, with only a few drops needed to create a soft, luminous effect. Wear on its own or mixed in with your primer, foundation or moisturiser to bring your skin back to life. If you have any excess left on your brush or fingers, sweep it onto your neck and chest to even things up. On good skin days, you may find this is enough without the need for any other make-up – it has a soft, pearl quality that leaves you looking glossy and fresh.

The Highlighter…

Liquid Lights Highlighter, £18 | Sculpted By Aimee

Sculpted by Aimee has just launched these new Liquid Lights – you can get them as blushers, bronzers or highlighters, but we favour the latter. Just a tiny amount patted onto the highest areas of your face helps to brighten skin and add volume. We recommend using a small fan brush to buff it into the skin so as to avoid stripping away the rest of your make-up. The formula is incredibly lightweight, so you’ll find it glides on nicely and is easy to work with.

The Bronzer…

Sun Shift Bronzer, £41 | Ilia Beauty

If you’re looking for that ‘just-holidayed’ look without being OTT, this is the bronzer to invest in. Impossible to get wrong, it is soft but buildable, allowing you to create a natural-looking warmth every time. As it’s a cream, it melds perfectly into your skin with the tiniest amount of shimmer that catches the light in all the right places.

The Mist…

Skin & Make-Up Enhancing Mist, £37 | Lisa Eldridge

Much more than your average setting spray, this new mist from Lisa Eldridge benefits from niacinamide which refines skin and blurs the size of pores. It also benefits from glycerine and aloe vera to simultaneously brighten skin and smooth it. Never sticky or tacky, it works well over or under make-up without interfering with the rest of your products. Whether you choose to wear it neat or on top of your base, it will give skin a fresh juiciness regardless.

The Foundation…

Skin Nova Complexion Balm, £34 | Vieve

For full coverage but still fresh-looking, this is one of our favourite foundations of the year. It is suitable for all skin types – especially those with dryness – thanks to big-time hydration hitters like polyglutamic acid, niacinamide and collagen. It delivers smooth coverage that’s just enough for day wear, but not too much that it looks heavy or cakey. It applies so easily and lasts well without any chalky, powdery feel that is so often associated with these types of foundations.

The Serum…

Great Skin Instant Glow Serum, £40 | MERIT

This Instant Glow Serum might be one of our favourite launches from MERIT. Shake the formula to see the bronzy texture combine with the silky serum to produce a product that’s unlike anything we’ve tried before. As you apply it, it feels almost matte, absorbing fast but with a nourishing feel that leaves skin feeling soft and supple – that’s thanks to four types of hyaluronic acid and niacinamide. Once it dries down, the healthy radiance it lends skin is second to none.

The Palette…

Ambient Lighting Edit, £90 | Hourglass

Often referred to as a ‘one-and-done’ product, this palette is relaunched annually with a new design, but its cult shades stay – albeit changed slightly. It gives the sort of glow that causes people to ask you what you’ve had done or where you’ve been. Whether you use one or two shades, or a mixture of them all with a big, fluffy brush, the healthy glow and warmth it gives is second to none – which is as it should be for the price. What we will say, though, this will last you for months if not a year.

The Subtle Tan…

Tea To Tan Face & Body, £59 | By Terry

If you love looking bronzed without the faff of fake tan application, this clever spray is ideal. It doesn’t contain tanning agents, so there’s no unpleasant musty smell, but the wash-off formula still gives the illusion of health, making your skin look freshly sun-kissed. Spritz it anywhere your skin needs a boost – be it the décolletage, legs, arms or face. The fine mist is wet and dewy, giving you time to buff it in with a brush or a mitt, though it absorbs evenly with no streaks, so you needn’t worry too much about perfect application.
