The Blouse
Mint Velvet has created the perfect tie neck blouse with this dark indigo denim piece. I will be wearing it with wide leg tailored trousers, a leather skirt or more dark denim. For the perfect day-to-night look, I’ll add a pair of kitten heels.
The Bag
I’ve been keeping an eye out for a new cream bag with a gold chain, and I think I’ve hit the jackpot with this chic shoulder bag from Neous. The neutral colour is versatile, and its clean, simple design will give any outfit a touch of effortless sophistication and polish.
The Evening Trousers
Malina has just released its second design collaboration with style icon and influencer Anouk Yve. This collection combines Anouk's minimalist Scandinavian aesthetic with Malina's classic feminine vibe. It’s hard to choose one piece, but I feel these trousers are a worthwhile investment and will look stylish with a cream knit, slingback kitten heels and statement jewellery for a timeless evening look.
The Overcoat
It’s impossible to ignore the brown trend this season and this wool blend overcoat is the perfect way to introduce the shade into your wardrobe. Versatility is key for me when it comes to coats, both in colour and style, and I feel this long double-breasted piece from H&M ticks all the boxes. It looks great thrown on over jeans and a knit, but also brings a sophisticated edge when worn with tailoring or leather trousers and skirts.
The Knitwear
Few things are more satisfying at this time of year than a great knit, but you have to act fast to get your hands on the best. To narrow the search, I've rounded up some of my favourites – including this chic cream cashmere piece from Reiss, which would look great with tailored trousers, a brown belt, animal print kitten heels, a brown suede bag and some statement sunnies.
The Silky Skirt Co-Ord
Silky co-ords are my go-to for a pulled together look with minimal effort. This set from Balzac hits all the right notes with its deep red colour, subtle pattern and flowing feminine lines. It works perfectly for a girls’ lunch, paired with long kitten heel boots and an oversized blazer, or dressed up with statement jewellery and strappy heels.
The Jewellery Collection
Danish jewellery brand Pilgrim is great at combining original and eye-catching designs without breaking the budget. A collaboration with influencer and photographer Freja Wewer, I particularly like these Napoli bracelets that look great stacked.
The Modern Ballet Pump
I love the animal print trend but like to include it as an accent piece rather than the main event. These & Other Stories leopard print flats will add a more considered touch to an outfit, and work well with jeans, tailoring or leather – nodding to the trend while still a classic.
The Extra Layer
OMHU is a knitwear label founded in the UK in 2021 by Danish designer Lin Routhe. Her approach is to create long lasting, easy-to-style silhouettes that are both comfortable and sophisticated. As temperatures start to drop, a knitted tabard is a versatile layer to invest in – a buffer between dresses and coats, it works just as well with denim.
The Wax Jacket
A waxed jacket is an iconic wardrobe staple. This oversized contemporary style from ME+EM, created through a collaboration with textile stalwarts British Millerain, will look at home both in the city and in the country, and will keep you as dry as it will warm.
The Leather Skirt
I love elevating a simple outfit with leather trousers or a skirt. This piece from Jigsaw is an investment worth making, as the classic shape will endure year after year. Plus, it’s easily styled with long suede boots and your favourite knit.
