Tom Kerridge’s The Chalk Freehouse is making Sunday lunch a family affair with The Dog’s Dinner, a complimentary roast created especially for four-legged guests. Available every Sunday until 1st November, the Chelsea pub’s collaboration with dog food brand Butternut Box starts with its Pork This Way recipe, made with human-quality pork, carrots, squash and green vegetables. It’s then given the full roast treatment, with crushed carrot, roast potatoes and a dog-friendly Yorkshire pudding. Served to dogs accompanying guests dining from the Sunday menu, it’s a thoughtful addition to a dog-friendly pub. For the humans, The Chalk Freehouse Sunday menu showcases head chef Tom De Keyser’s refined take on British pub dining. The Lives of Others

A gripping stage adaptation of The Lives of Others is coming to London’s Adelphi Theatre this autumn. Set in East Germany in 1984, the story follows a writer and actor placed under Stasi surveillance, as the officer listening from the attic above their apartment begins to question the life he is observing. Based on Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck’s Oscar-winning 2007 film, this production explores artistic censorship, state control and the relationship between art and politics. Adapted and directed by Olivier Award-winner Robert Icke, it stars Keira Knightley, Stephen Dillane and Luke Thompson. Knightley, seen in Netflix’s Black Doves, makes her West End return alongside Game of Thrones and Vigil star Dillane, while Thompson is best known for Bridgerton.
