Hotel Nautical x Perdue Yacht

Tucked away in a pine forest outside the fashionable Turkish resort of Fethiye lies a collection known as Soulsetters. It comprises of Perdue and Nautical boutique hotels, Blue Voyage Yacht Chartering and beach clubs Rups and Cleo. Located in the centre of the Lycian Way, guests can enjoy guided scenic hikes, explore the surrounding sights with a jeep safari tour, pass through the ‘Seven Capes’, witness kaleidoscopic sunsets at Patara beach and explore ancient cities to discover the region’s storied past.

Activities aside, the hotels have a Robinson Crusoe vibe, with rustic accommodation hidden down twisting footpaths for total privacy. There are a couple of restaurants to choose from and the two beach clubs ooze style – Rups is a chic collection of decks for dining, cabanas for snoozing and there is music in the evenings; newly opened Cleo has safari tents, a marina, two restaurants and a spa. This region of Turkey is known as the Turquoise Coast for a reason and, for those keen to get out on the big blue, there are two yachts to choose from, both with crew and a private chef, offering tailor-made tours of the countless bays in the area.

Exion Skin Tightening

Looking to get your glow back? For a skin tightening effect without any invasive procedures or downtime, Exion could be the treatment you’ve been waiting for. Via a small handheld device which is strategically moved over the face and neck, it can target specific areas at a time. The machine transmits radio frequency and ultrasound energy into the skin to stimulate collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid production, enhancing plumpness and the skin’s overall appearance. Testers have observed sculpted and glowing skin as well as softened fine lines and wrinkles. Best of all, it’s pain free and no anaesthetic is required – the feeling can be compared to having a relaxing hot stone massage – and you can go back to your daily routine right away.

It takes 12 weeks post course of treatments to see the full results which can last up to two years with a small maintenance. Four to six sessions are recommended, from £550 per session.

Beaverbrook x Royal Ascot

Luxury stately home hotel Beaverbrook’s iconic hot air balloons will be popping up trackside this summer at Royal Ascot from Tuesday 17th to Saturday 21st June. This is the first time the hotel has collaborated with the racecourse and the first time its summer hot air balloon dining concept has left the Surrey estate since its launch five years ago.

Designed by table dressers Summerill & Bishop, six raspberry red and rose-pink striped balloons with wicker baskets will be dotted through the Lavender Courtyard close to the track, providing views across the racecourse. Each balloon seats six and will offer a unique al fresco dining experience within the Royal Enclosure – guests can book two-hour sittings for a brunch or lunch picnic from a Michelin-starred chef or afternoon tea from a master pâtissier.

Cecil Beaton: A Family Archive

Cecil Beaton was one of the 20th century’s great cultural figures. A costume designer, writer, stylist, Oscar winner and official photographer at Queen Elizabeth II’s Coronation, he was also Charlie Gladstone’s great uncle and a regular visitor to the Gladstones’ Hawarden Estate in Flintshire, North Wales. Marking this familial connection, a new rolling exhibition opens at Hawarden Castle on 28th April and features hundreds of Beaton’s previously unseen family photographs, paintings, drawings, designs for My Fair Lady (for which he won an Oscar) and ephemera.

The exhibition will be on display at two locations on the estate and is open to guests staying at The West End (a luxe holiday apartment in the western wing of Hawarden Castle) and by appointment in the Gladstone/Hellen Studio. There are also three open days on 2nd and 30th May and 20th June.

Polène Bags

Two new designs join the Polène collection – the Osmo bag and the Mokki Mini. The Osmo, with its geometry softened by slightly curved leather, has been designed to be worn ‘baguette’ style and has a magnetic closure. For the first time, Polène has selected nappa leather and the bags are made by artisans in Ubrique, Spain.

Reinterpreted in a compact format, the Mokki Mini celebrates the art of folding. Its grained leather structure reveals smooth leather at the corners for a subtle interplay of textures. Its name, borrowed from the Finnish word for ‘hut’, reflects the idea of taking a little slice of one's home outside. Designed to combine aesthetics and functionality, the Mokki Mini offers a compartmentalised interior beneath its flap with a discreet clasp.

The latest interiors launch from Bertioli, Thyme’s home brand, is the Water Meadow collection of fabrics and wallpapers with patterns hand painted by Caryn. Choose from either an accent cushion, tablecloth or napkins, or go bold and drench your home in the style of the hotel.
