Produce remains central to the ethos of the bistro, with Phil and the team working closely with suppliers to serve quality ingredients, cooked thoughtfully to allow the produce to shine. The new menu mixes Mediterranean influences with classical techniques, with comforting yet fresh and vibrant dishes at its heart, and continues to celebrate Scottish seafood (including the hot seafood platters for which it is renowned) but with a greater focus on meat and vegetable dishes.

Beauvamp x Natasha Hulse
Lighting designer Alice Moylan and fabric artist Natasha Hulse have released the second part of their bespoke lampshade collection, combining decorative artistry with hand-pleated lampshade design. The collection is made up of four painterly designs inspired by nature: Breamore Oak, May’s March, Tulip Dance and Harvest Gather. Each design has been taken from Natasha’s original hand paintings and printed onto a warm oatmeal natural linen, which sit neatly around the base of each lampshade. Using traditional sewing techniques, the fabric is then hand-pleated and hand-sewn onto a range of bespoke bronze frames designed by Alice.

Sam's Riverside
Beautiful spaces with riverside views can be hard to find in London so, just as the weather warms up, we’re delighted to hear that Sam’s Riverside – the riverside brasserie overlooking Hammersmith Bridge – has reopened its much-loved terrace, this year in partnership with award-winning Stellenbosch winery, Journey’s End. The terrace is open daily and is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing lunch or evening supper with an al fresco glass of South African wine. The terrace is adorned with hand-embroidered cashmere blankets, crafted in South Africa, offering a touch of warmth and comfort when the London weather doesn’t quite match the sunny climate of the Cape. Of course, food is on offer too, whether that’s a plate of Sam’s famous oysters, some summery croquettes or rich Parmesan churros.

Rebody
Newly opened Rebody in southwest London is one of the first clubs in the UK to offer hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) and targeted red light therapy in one session. HBOT is a non-invasive treatment, designed to supercharge recovery, that involves breathing concentrated oxygen in a pressurised chamber to increase the oxygen levels in the blood. Benefits are wide ranging and help to combat the ageing process by elevating stem cell production, regenerating new brain, bone, skin and heart tissue and producing new blood vessels. Deeply breathing oxygen also has a calming effect on the body which helps to lower blood pressure, reduce stress and encourage mental clarity. Red light therapy is also a non-invasive treatment that energises cells, improves skin condition, transforms recovery and boosts vitality. Combining the two creates a dramatic rise in blood flow, supercharging the production of cellular energy and healing power.
An introductory session costs £59, with single sessions increasing to £79 after that.
