THE FOOD LAUNCH:
By now, we know that bone both is packed full of goodness, but it can be a hassle to make at home. Freja is a start-up that makes 100% natural bone broth packed with flavour, collagen and protein. Each 500ml carton includes three servings made with fresh ingredients that are responsibly sourced and simply cooked. The broth is particularly beneficial for women over 50 as part of menopause support due to the high content of collagen. There are currently four options – chicken, beef, fish and a vegan flavour. A great base for a soup or ramen, or snack on its own, we like the chicken flavour best.
THE GARDENER’S TOOL:
Harvst Sprout Mini Greenhouse

The brand has launched its mini ‘S6’ greenhouse designed to fit in any garden or on a balcony. It’s the smallest model yet and is perfect on a table or work surface, and has a sealed, insulated back panel, so you can put it anywhere. The best part? It’s self-watering, providing a regular watering regime, and will take care of plants or herbs when you’re away from home. You can choose to water more on hot days, water less on cool days and save water when it’s not needed – just connect to the app to control the settings. You can even upgrade the model with solar panels.

Capote's Women: A True Story of Love, Ambition and Betrayal by Laurence Leamer
“There are certain women,” Truman Capote wrote, “who, though perhaps not born rich, are born to be rich.” These women captivated and enchanted Capote – he befriended them, received their deepest confidences and ingratiated himself into their lives. From Barbara 'Babe' Paley to Lee Radziwill (Jackie Kennedy's sister), they were the toast of mid-century New York, each beautiful and distinguished in her own way. For years, Capote had been trying to write what he believed would be his magnum opus, Answered Prayers. But when he eventually published a few chapters in Esquire magazine, the barely fictionalised lives (and scandals) of his closest female confidantes were laid bare for all to see. The blowback incinerated his relationships and banished Capote from their high-society world for ever. In Capote's Women, author Laurence Leamer investigates the true story of the renowned author and his famous friends.
