Wild Week At The Lost Gardens Of Heligan

The Lost Gardens of Heligan in Cornwall is hosting a ‘Wild Week’ in partnership with David Attenborough’s BBC programme, Wild Isles. From Saturday 27th May to Sunday 4th June, parents and kids can reconnect with nature by following trails and assault courses across its 200-acre site, getting lost in a wild storytelling session or relax in a hammock listening to music by the firepit. Kids can also take part in workshops like bush crafting and axe throwing led by the Canoe Cornwall team, and explore the grounds with its zipwire and play area. Be sure to visit the wildlife hub to learn how the team recently reintroduced beavers into the estate. Tickets start from £9.50.

NickWatch

Nickelodeon has created a cool smartwatch for kids with GPS tracking, two-way messaging, calling and a camera. The NickWatch brings characters from Nickelodeon series to life, including Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, SpongeBob SquarePants and more. It also includes a step counter, music tracks and dozens of fun games and activities to encourage movement and imaginative play. Ally Pally’s 150 Birthday Party

To celebrate 150 years since it opened back in 1873, Alexandra Palace will host a free family-friendly party on Saturday 27th May from midday until 9pm, when visitors can explore all corners of the palace and its 196-acre park. Adults and little ones can look forward to live music, DJs, cinema screenings, silent discos, a family rave, tours of the palace’s theatre and former BBC studios, a farmer’s market and ice-skating sessions. There will also be a selection of workshops and entertainment hosted by the palace’s Creative Learning team, as well as street food, a rum bar and beer garden for parents.

The ii Family Money Show With Gabby Logan

Interactive Investor (ii) has launched a new series of its podcast hosted by Gabby Logan. Each week Gabby will speak to familiar faces about their relationship with money, the financial lessons they've learnt on the road to success, and how they're investing for their family's future. Gabby charts the guests' paths from childhood to career accomplishments, and how their relationship with money has evolved over the years. The Little Mermaid

Disney’s latest live-action film, The Little Mermaid, hits the big screen and Dinsey+ on Friday 26th May. Taking inspiration from the 1980s Disney classic, the reboot has a star-studded cast that includes Halle Bailey, Melissa McCarthy, Simone Ashley, Javier Bardem and Lin-Manuel Miranda. Ariel is a beautiful and spirited young mermaid with a thirst for adventure. The youngest of King Triton’s daughters and the most defiant, she longs to find out more about the world beyond the sea. While visiting the surface, she falls for the dashing Prince Eric. Although mermaids are forbidden to interact with humans, Ariel must follow her heart. She makes a deal with the evil sea witch, Ursula, to experience life on land that ultimately places her life – and her father’s crown – in jeopardy.

Comedy collective Nice N' Spiky is hosting a comedy evening at St John’s Wood’s kids club b-together on Sunday 21st May from 2pm-3pm. Patrick Monahan and two other surprise performers will have little ones giggling with their energetic comedy style and relatable material.
