BBC Lessons At Home

To help children learn at home during lockdown 3.0 – and ease the pressures of home schooling on parents –the BBC is providing daily televised lessons for school children of all ages. CBBC currently has a three-hour block of primary school lessons from 9am, covering a range of subjects, while BBC Two is running two hours’ worth of educational programmes for secondary school students every week, which will include Shakespeare plays, science lessons and history shows. The lessons will also be available to watch on demand via BBC iPlayer.

Joe Wicks isn’t the only one providing PE lessons for kids during lockdown – The Little Gym has over 80 classes for babies and children available on their YouTube channel. Each class has been designed by experts, with the aim of improving children’s cognitive development. The channel also has a range of guides to help children master gymnastics tricks, like forward rolls, handstands and cartwheels, plus playlists for different ages, up to the age of 12.
