KNITTED DRESSES have been a go-to throughout my pregnancy – they’re such a nice way to EMBRACE YOUR NEW SHAPE. This one from Sir The Label has a CUT-OUT at the back so it doesn't feel too restricted, either. I’ve gone for a TONAL LOOK here, adding a trench, cashmere jumper and some cosy boots from Innuikii.
This look is probably the MOST REFLECTIVE OF MY NATURAL STYLE. Finding a good pair of pregnancy jeans has been a real struggle, but these ones from River Island are really comfortable. I’ve paired them with an oversized sweatshirt from Weekday and trainers. With your maternity wardrobe, it’s always WORTH INVESTING MORE IN SHOES AND ACCESSORIES – mainly because you’ll be able to wear them post-baby, too.
I think LEGGINGS ARE A PREGNANCY STAPLE, but to find a pair that don’t fall down, don’t stretch to the point that they’re see-through and don’t bobble in the wash, isn’t easy. These ones from Spanx really HOLD YOU IN. Wear them with an oversized shirt, and then this tabard from Jigsaw will add a layer of warmth. It also has ties at the sides so it’s EXPANDABLE AS YOUR BUMP GROWS. I’ve gone for Chanel pumps to keep it chic.
Bumpsuit is an amazing brand and this is their UNITARD. Although it's not something I ever imagined myself wearing, it’s one of the COMFIEST THINGS I OWN – and it’s double-lined. Wearing a longline boxy blazer with a belt gives the look a POLISHED EDGE, plus I know I’ll wear post-pregnancy too. STATEMENT ACCESSORIES finish the look.
You can wear these COS satin elasticated waist trousers THROUGHOUT THE TRIMESTERS, and they come at a GREAT PRICE POINT. I’ve opted for a chunky, cosy knit from Navy Grey, too. When it comes to knits, think about the length. LONGER STYLES that hang over the bump are much MORE FLATTERING.
