Wrapping up the show, Georgie interviews two hugely inspirational women – Debbie Wosskow OBE & Anna Jones, Founders of the AllBright Collective. An eco-system aiming to make the UK a better place to be a working woman, it supports women at all stages of their careers; whether they're entrepreneurs or on the corporate ladder. There's a bricks and mortar women’s-only members' club; inspiring events and networking evenings; the AllBright Fund, which mentors aspiring and established female founders to grow their businesses; and the AllBright Academy, a free 10-week programme designed to help women start and scale up a business or smash through the corporate glass ceiling.
We highly recommend signing up for the Academy, which will take on its next group of cohorts in November. The course is split into two me is split into two parts: one headed up by entrepreneur Wosskow (for women running their own businesses) and the other by former-Hearst CEO Jones (for those with ambitious career plans, whatever industry they’re in). Both focus on defining your strengths and motivation, building your confidence and connections, resilience training and strategies to manage the work-life balance, with likes of designer Cath Kidston, Wahaca Co-Founder Thamasina Miers and Facebook Vice President Nicola Mendelsohn among the faculty.
