POP-UP: LoveShackFancy at Harrods
These days, it’s not just about the clothes a brand designs, but the lifestyle they sell too. LoveShackFancy is the epitome of the 360-degree experience, with not only the most impossibly feminine, romantic fashion on offer, but a series of US stores and a social media presence to back it up. A favourite of the style set thanks to whimsical designs and Victoriana-inspired dresses, the brand’s been hard to locate in the UK in recent years apart from a smattering of product on the likes of Net-a-Porter and Harvey Nichols. But, as of last week, you can shop at an exclusive Harrods pop-up, giving you access to not just the usual ruffled separates, but statement knitwear, killer swimwear and pretty accessories too.
Chloë Sevigny's latest passion project, this psychological thriller is based on the infamous 1892 murders of the Borden family. Lizzie follows the notorious would-be axe murderess Lizzie Borden (Sevigny), who was accused and acquitted of killing her father and stepmother, including her intense, secret relationship with Bridget Sullivan (Kristen Stewart): an Irish maid who comes to live with the Borden family.
In cinemas 14th December
INTERIORS COLLABORATION: Matilda Goad X Liberty
The scallop-loving designer has teamed up with the iconic London department store to create a collection of raffia lampshades with playful Liberty print linings and colour pop Roman pillar lamp bases, each design playing on Goad's penchant for textural materials and unusual styles. They're the pieces guaranteed to perk up your space, no matter how big or small.
MUSE: Birgit Kos for Porter Magazine
We all know the 80s are back in fashion favour, but for those who can only recall nightmarish bouffants and OTT shoulder-pads, here's a little inspo for you. Net-a-Porter's Disco For Days shoot, featuring top model Birgit Kos, is proof that sequins, white knee-high boots, boxy leather and even a little dose of exaggerated shoulders can really work if styled correctly. Just add a smoky eye, messy hair and minimal accessories for a surprisingly wearable take.
RESTAURANT: B&H Garden Room
The latest launch from the Bourne & Hollingsworth Group, located in the heart of the West End, this rooftop restaurant and bar boasts panoramic, 180-degree views of London. And with a menu of delicious seasonal food (think burrata with beetroot, candied lemon, watercress and hazelnuts; slow-cooked lamb with prunes and sweet potato mash; and pulled jackfruit chilli with avocado relish), mouthwatering cocktails (make ours a 'Gold Fashioned': Monkey Shoulder Scotch, Wild Turkey Rye, Amaro di Angostura, homemade truffle muscovado syrup and lavender bitters) and B&H's signature stunning interiors, it's a real must-book.

CHRISTMAS TREE: The Tree of Love at Claridge's
London's Claridge's is renowned for its festive decorations, appointing one leading designer every year to create a showstopping Christmas tree for its grand foyer. This year, the iconic Diane Von Furstenburg has transitioned from fashion to foliage; titled The Tree of Love, her design is decorated in 8,000 iridescent hand-painted silver-leafed leaves, hand-blown blue glass spheres and 150 glass hearts, along with six different silver-leafed abstract animals. Impossibly Instagram-friendly, head down to get a snap now.
FASHION LAYER: Victoria Beckham Cape Coat
We've already extolled the virtues of the cape for you this winter, but if you're still sceptical, this Victoria Beckham design is likely all the convincing you need. Unlike traditional styles, this clever piece still has the structure of a proper coat, but with an extra cape-like layer to bring a little drama to proceedings. Plus, black piping makes it impossibly versatile – wear over colour or smart monochromes for a grown-up, stylish look.

Cire Trudon's Abd El Kader candle is what we want our homes to smell like this Christmas. Encapsulating the scent of a warm breeze, blowing from Algeria's Mascara Coast to the mainland, the scent blends sweet jasmine and vanilla with fresh spearmint and apple, balanced by spicy notes of clove and ginger. Plus, can we talk about how stunning the rose gold packaging is?
