The Bag: Bottega Bag The Pouch in Butter Calf Leather

Where Rosie Huntington-Whiteley goes, the fashion crowd follows, so it’s no surprise that everyone who’s anyone has been spotted with the same Bottega Venetta slouchy leather clutch she has posted multiple times on Instagram as of late. Couple its sell-out popularity with the brand’s killer AW19 collection (all the top fashion eds have been going mad for it) and it’s officially the hot label to watch.

SCENT: Solstice by Bjork & Berries

Solstice is the latest scent from Swedish brand Bjork & Berries. Vegan friendly, the fragrance is inspired by the mythology and symbolism of ancient midsummer traditions. The bottle merges bright neroli and soft orange blossoms with deep amber and smooth cashmere wood, combined with the herbaceous depth of lavender. Made with natural fermented alcohol, the perfume is made with 83% natural and 75% organic ingredients – and smells incredible.

BOOK: One More Croissant For The Road by Felicity Cloake

Part travelogue, part food memoir, One More Croissant for the Road follows the Observer’s ‘taster in chief’ Felicity Cloake’s very own Tour de France, cycling 2,300km across France in search of culinary perfection; from tarte tatin to cassoulet, via poule au pot and tartiflette. Each of the 21 ‘stages’ concludes with Felicity putting this newfound knowledge to good use with a fresh and definitive recipe for each dish. A must-read for Francophiles and foodies.

EXHIBITION: Manolo Blahník x Wallace Collection

This month, the Wallace Collection and Manolo Blahník have unveiled a new collaborative exhibition: An Enquiring Mind: Manolo Blahník at the Wallace Collection. The show features a personally selected edit of shoe designs from Blahník’s private archives set among the masterpieces of the Wallace Collection. This is a rare opportunity to see excellence in contemporary design alongside the exceptional quality of the Wallace Collection’s own art works – and best of all? It’s free entry.

Gordon Ramsay has opened his newest London restaurant. Named Lucky Cat, the ‘Asian eating house’ on Grosvenor Square offers a menu of Asian small plates and robata-grilled dishes. Diners will be taken on an experiential journey from the moment they arrive. Every table offers an exciting perspective, including two chef’s tables, where guests can choose from a handwritten, seasonal menu and enjoy the theatre of watching expert chefs at work. Elsewhere, the Raw Bar offers expertly sliced sushi and sashimi and the bar serves a superb selection of Japanese gins and over 50 sakes.

THE STORE: Damoy Antwerp

Slick, minimalist and cool, Damoy Antwerp is one of a number of emerging Belgian designers at the forefront of modern style. We’ve fallen hard for their clean lines, pared back colour palette and clever hybrid between high-end design and wearable pieces. Worth investing in, we promise.

FILM: Once Upon A Time… In Hollywood

Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood visits 1969 LA, where everything is changing, as TV star Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio) and his long-time stunt double Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt) make their way around an industry they hardly recognise anymore. This ninth film from the controversial writer-director features a large ensemble cast, including Margot Robbie and Dakota Fanning, and multiple storylines in a tribute to the final moments of Hollywood’s golden age.

In cinemas 26th July

With names like Camellia and Cotton Candy, it doesn’t take a fashion expert to appreciate Triangl swim’s gloriously feminine new collection. These pieces mark a departure for the brand, once famed for their bold colours and thick black lines, but with high-waisted cuts and flattering one-pieces, their signature expertise is still evident.

GADGET: My Skin Track UV by La Roche-Posay

La Roche-Posay’s My Skin Track UV is the first battery-free wearable electronic sensor and companion app to measure your personal exposure to UV, pollution, humidity and pollen. Launched in the US last November, My Skin Track UV is now available over here. The sensor allows users to better understand their environment so they can make more informed choices relating to their skin. The battery-free sensor is activated by the sun and powered by the user’s smartphone using near-field communication. Clever.
