Everything The Team Wore In Manchester

“When I'm packing light, it's all about taking those key pieces that can be worn in multiple ways – that's why this Raey oversized blazer always comes with me. I wore it with baggy jeans and trainers to travel in, and then the next day I rolled up the jeans and added slip-on flats for a smarter take. Two pairs of trousers came with me, along with three evening tops – I like to have options. This Mango evening bag is such a hero, too. Another rule of mine is never to pack bulky shoes – always wear them to travel in instead. Finally, a sweatshirt was – inevitably – invaluable. I always go for a plain navy, oversized option so it doesn't feel too casual on camera.”

“On the first day in Manchester, I wore denim jorts, a black bralet, a zebra print blazer and patent red mules. I’ve recently discovered the joy of jorts and they were the perfect base for my outfit. A head-to-toe colour look will always be my favourite kind of ‘fit. The cascading top and matching maxi from the Roksanda x Jigsaw collab was perfect for our dinner at Fenix. I also made sure to pack a co-ord, which always makes me feel put together. The weather on day two dictated my look – so a denim maxi skirt was an easy throw-on, along with a backless waistcoat and kitten heel slingbacks. I threw on a blazer when the sun disappeared!”

“A city break always calls for a smart capsule of options. My brown ASOS jacket came in so handy and a new pair of white cargo-style jeans from Bimba Y Lola were the foundation for most of my daytime looks. Elsewhere, an Aligne utility style set was such an easy throw-on with trainers and at night, this simple H&M bodysuit and a wide-legged pair of jeans did all the hard work. I always bring silver heels to spice up a simple ensemble – along with statement earrings and cool sunnies. For travel, it was a pair of Almada The Label knit trousers, a tee and a simple red sweatshirt from Sézane.”

“A matching set is my default during event season – they’re so comfortable and chic. This is a Topshop set, via ASOS – you just can't beat it. I like to style them with a kitten heel. In the daytime, however, I lived in a simple tank, oversized shirts and a cool bomber. My pre-loved Prada bag also came everywhere with me.”

“I wouldn't say I'm the savviest packer, so a bit of pre-trip outfit planning is essential. A travel outfit must be comfy and usually consists of loose trousers or shorts, trainers and something baggy on top. Similarly, my daytime outfits tend to follow a similar rule for exploring, eating and drinking. Then to save any last-minute outfit regret, I tend to play it safe and stick to smart/casual tailoring for evenings – again, still nice and loose, and usually layers, just in case a sudden heatwave or storm materialises. For shoes, a low kitten heel is best; you never know how much walking you might have to do on a city break.”
