Makeup By Mario

Kim Kardashian’s personal make-up artist has built a loyal following over the years and even collaborated with Kim on what was then known as KKW Beauty. A few years ago, Mario Dedivanovic launched a line of his own, with his eyeshadow palettes becoming an instant hit. Today, Makeup By Mario also encompasses flawless base products, beautiful lip colours and expert-approved tools.

Ruby Hammer

With a career spanning over more than 25 years and an MBE marking her contribution to the beauty industry, make-up artist Ruby Hammer needs little introduction. From working with the best photographers for glossy magazines and advertising campaigns, to making up models for runway shows and TV, her career ultimately inspired her successful cosmetics brand. She explains that as an artist, she wanted to create products and tools she could keep in her bag, desk or take on holiday, therefore creating unique on-the-go magnetic heroes. As well as tools, the brand also offers cosmetics including balms, liners and lip pencils.

Lisa Eldridge

Lisa Eldridge is a renowned make-up artist with an impressive roster of A-list clients. Sculpted By Aimee

Starting her make-up career at age 16, Dublin-born make-up artist Aimee Connolly launched her brand aged just 23. Regular SL readers will know we’ve long been fans – in fact the brand was one of our ‘Rising Star’ nominees in our recent Beauty Awards. Hardly a newcomer now, Sculpted has amassed over 181k followers on Instagram – along with an extra 180k for Aimee herself. Our favourite products are the multipurpose palettes and natural bases.

Westman Atelier

With a career that has spanned more than 20 years – including time spent as an artistic director at both Lancôme and Revlon – Gucci Westman is a big name in beauty. She’s best known for her signature, dewy glow – an aesthetic reflected in her own brand, which make-up artists and celebrities love for its contour, highlight and blush sticks.

Vieve

Jamie Genevieve is one of the UK’s leading beauty YouTubers and make-up artists, with decades of experience under her belt. So it’s no wonder that when she launched her own line in 2019, people paid attention. As for the products, we love the Skin Nova – a lightweight glow-giving base that transforms your complexion. The silky blush balm and eye wands come a close second.

Kjaer Weis

Created by Danish-born, New York-based Kirsten Kjaer Weis in 2010, this namesake brand was the first of its kind in the luxury organic sector. A veteran in the editorial beauty space, Kirsten’s knowledge of the effects of conventional products on the skin drove her to start the brand. Offering gluten-free, natural and organically formulated products that are entirely free of parabens, silicone and synthetic fragrances, the brand’s green credentials are enhanced by its refillable packaging.

Jones Road

After she sold her eponymous label to Estée Lauder and came to the end of her contract with the company in 2016, Bobbi Brown wasn’t legally allowed to launch another brand of her own until October of 2020. Eventually, Jones Road was founded with a ‘your skin but better’ ethos. The range includes multipurpose quality products brimming with simple ingredients and designed for all ages, skin types and tones. Crowd favourites include the Miracle Balm and Shimmer Face Oil
