The Hype
First launched as part of Rare Beauty’s first collection in 2022, The Soft Pinch Liquid Blush has quickly become a beauty insider favourite. A viral hit on TikTok, fans love the versatile formula, which can be dialled up or down depending on your desired look. It makes sense given that the brand – founded by Selena Gomez – offers a curated selection of feel-good make-up that’s designed to combat the unrealistic beauty standards of the industry.
The Formula
A silky cream, this product feels weightless on the skin – despite its bold pigment. Just remember a little goes a long way. There are ten shades to choose from, all of which are designed to suit a range of skin tones, though our favourite has to be ‘Encourage’. Long lasting and kind to the skin, the formula’s botanical blend of white waterlily, gardenia and lotus work together to soothe and nourish, while the vibrant colour instantly livens up dull winter skin.

How To Use It
The biggest mistake you can make is going in too heavy-handed. Instead, use the doe foot applicator to dot a small amount on either cheek, before blending out with a fluffy kabuki brush. While it’s easy to work with – even if you do go in with too much product – it is seriously pigmented, so it works best to go in with a light hand, then build it up if you want more.
