The Background

Full of nourishing hyaluronic acid and skin-soothing niacinamide, this creamy mask plumps, soothes and softens dry skin – fast. Its vegan formula floods the skin with a mix of glycerin and hyaluronic acid mix, along with antioxidants and gentle exfoliating extracts to banish fine lines and leave your complexion looking smoother and fresher. Summer Fridays co-founder Marianna also credits its “now iconic” blue tube explaining, “It’s so recognisable, which we’re sure added to its popularity early on.”

It can be used as a face mask, moisturiser, eye cream and everything in between. We love seeing all the ways people use it and its VERSATILITY IS WHAT MAKES IT REALLY UNIQUE.

How To Use It

Although the brand calls it a mask, the product is beloved by fans and insiders alike for its multipurpose functionality. Marianna explains: “It can be used as a face mask, moisturiser, eye cream and everything in between. We love seeing all the ways people use it and its versatility is what makes it really unique.” It’s also easy to add into your existing routine: “This product doesn’t have to replace anything you already love. My favourite trick is to use it as an under-eye mask whenever I’m especially tired or jet lagged. I’ll also apply it at night as my night-time moisturiser.” Co-founder Lauren adds: “The Jet Lag Mask does it all – especially when it comes to hydration – so I typically use it as both an everyday moisturiser or just on specific areas that need reviving.”

What Insiders Say

From influencers to make-up artists, and even celebrities like Jessica Alba and Kim Kardashian, insiders love it for travelling. Influencer Vanessa Rose Blair says she loves using the rich formula as either a mask or intensive moisturiser on dehydrated skin, while make-up artist Camilla Hewitt loves taking the handy travel size in her hand luggage. Influencer Elise Gill says she appreciated that the thick and nourishing texture js non-comedogenic. Former beauty editor and journalist Julie Schott says it “works wonders” on her complexion. She even uses it to smooth the tops of her hands: “It creates a soft, even feel without the greasiness of regular hand lotion.”
