The Do Book Company is an independent publishing house based in Shoreditch which produces a series of inspirational guidebooks in print, digital and audiobook formats. From interior design to giving birth, these 18 books (and counting) cover everything. . Best of all, each book costs just £8.99 – perfect for Secret Santa budgets andlast-minute stocking fillers.
Each book is written by a speaker from the Do Lectures, an annual event held in West Wales and California, whose ideas have inspired others to get out and try new things. The books’ aim is to recreate that same positive change in written form – whether that’s mastering a new skill or craft, a simple mind shift, or a shot of inspiration to help you get started in a new business.
Each guide is concise – around 100 pages – as they focus on the ‘doing’ rather than the background theory. Visual and practical, these pocket books break down the basics – we like ‘The seven days of bread’ from Do Sourdough, where the lifespan of a loaf is charted from day one-- bread and butter to day seven-- breadcrumbs, via croutons, bruschetta and toast.
We also like the look of the book bundles. Got a budding entrepreneur in the family?
