Chestertons Polo in the Park is back – & this year, SheerLuxe is hosting HPA Ladies Day. Held at London’s iconic home of polo – Hurlingham Park – the three-day polo festival will kick off London’s summer social calendar from Friday 10th-Sunday 12th June.

Ladies Day

The SheerLuxe-sponsored event will host the first International Women’s Match on Saturday’s HPA Ladies Day, featuring England Polo & Team USA.

Guests will enjoy live music, a luxury shopping village & fabulous gardens & bars created by Slingsby Gin Garden, Fever Tree & Mahiki. Champagne Lanson will also be on hand with its rosé champagne garden.

What’s It All About?

Chestertons Polo in the Park is the biggest three-day polo event in the world. Hurlingham Park has been considered the spiritual home of polo since 1875, when the Hurlingham Polo Committee drew up the first formal rules of the game. In the 150 years since the first game of polo was played in the UK, it has grown to become a much-loved sport, which typically draws crowds from around the world.

Polo is now played in 77 countries worldwide, from the US, Central and South America and the Caribbean, to Europe, the Middle East, India, South-East Asia, China, Australia and New Zealand. Over the course of the weekend, there will be six city teams competing from across the globe, from Sydney and Buenos Aires to New York, Zurich, Dubai and London.

What’s New This Year?

The three-day event features teams from across the globe, alongside an array of new food and drink pop-ups and VIP hospitality. Sunday’s Family Day is great for children. This year, Chestertons Polo in the Park is laying on a bit of sporting history: the first International Women’s Match on Saturday’s Ladies Day, featuring England Polo and Team USA. No women’s international game has ever been played in central London before.

The inaugural Fulham Food Festival will surely be a big draw and will feature some of London’s most popular restaurants and street food vendors, including the Argentine steak restaurant Gaucho, burgers from Truffle London, seafood bites from Calamari Canteen, hot dogs from La Cocinita and Mumbai street food from Curry On Naanstop.

Hurlingham Club, 17 Broomhouse Lane, Fulham, SW6 3DP; Friday 10th-Sunday 12th June
