Day-to-day underwear for me is all about comfort and Marks & Spencer really does this best. I go for full briefs or Brazilian-style pants with a smooth finish and no sign of a VPL. The microfibre material is super lightweight and feels like wearing a second skin. I wear a t-shirt or strapless style in tonal shades. At the weekend, I’m usually going out so I like my underwear to be a bit fancier – anything from Maison SL, Bluebella or Coco De Mer with delicate detailing, lace or colour.

My favourite brand is Stripe & Stare. It has the softest, most comfortable styles – I love the thongs and t-shirt bras – and I like the sustainable focus. Another brand I like for basics is Wacoal, especially its nude seamless styles, which are some of my most worn. For pretty styles, I think the high street has great options, especially Free People, H&M and & Other Stories. I also like ARKET for satin styles, and I really recommend YSÉ Paris for lace pieces. Finally, I recently discovered Cou Cou Intimates – I love the pointelle designs.

I tend to stick to a few tried-and-tested brands. Baserange does the comfiest bamboo cotton bras in easy neutral colours. I love Else for strapless and functional styles that are still delicate and considered. Finally, Dora Larsen is one of my favourite British brands and my go-to for something a little fancier – pretty, feminine pieces and a bit of colour.

Sapna

My go-to vibe is comfy and simple. That’s why I often go for pieces from Skims. It has the best materials and cuts – I love its briefs for relaxing in at home, along with one of its big boyfriend tees or some PJs. For a budget buy, H&M’s simple lace thongs and bralettes are perfect. I rarely deviate from these two brands, but if I’m after something a little more special, Dora Larsen’s pretty pieces always catch my eye.

For my evening looks, I tend to wear a strapless bra – and M&S has been my go-to for years. I find its strapless bras comfortable and supportive, and I can wear them all evening long without having to readjust. When it comes to pretty sets, I always trust Topshop as a flattering and affordable option. A dark coloured set with some light lace is my usual everyday style. Love Stories has a great range of styles for all sizes – its cotton slogan briefs resemble a relaxed, boyish style which is fun to try out. When I fancy splurging a little on lingerie, Bluebella offers some incredibly elegant and intricate styles in a range of colours and cuts.

Emma

I am quite particular with my underwear. I hate wires and always want soft seamless options for everyday bras. If I’m after something prettier, I look for soft lace bralettes in neutral colours. I like soft cotton pants or silky shorts that don’t dig in. COS and Love Stories are my go-to brands.
