CREATED IN PARTNERSHIP WITH SAINT AND SOFIA
The designers have significant pedigree – having launched a globally successful activewear company in 2011, the founders turned their attention to creating classics, with a twist, bringing with them alumnae from some of the world’s most illustrious brands. From MATCHES and Louis Vuitton, to Reiss and Ted Baker – this is a team rich in experience.
The clothes are seriously polished – think a clean, monochrome colour palette of everyday essentials. They’re also designed to be fully inclusive – Saint and Sofia proudly boasts nine sizes, ranging from a UK 6 to 22, all with petite, regular and tall options.
The hero piece from the SS20 collection is undoubtedly the Cambridge black blazer. The perfect piece of tailoring, we love its oversized, relaxed fit – add to their slub tees and relaxed trousers for everyday cool.
The fabrics are taken into careful consideration. The brand uses organic cotton to increase biodiversity, reduce water consumption and limit energy requirements. They also use natural materials like merino and econyl where possible.
All production takes place in Europe, and the brand doesn’t create a huge amount of stock. Instead, they re-stock on a weekly basis to avoid waste. Using handpicked manufacturing partners, they keep things simple and smart.
The price point is affordable – in fact, the SS20 collection starts at £60. Looking for independent, conscious fashion that doesn’t cost the earth? This is the name to know.
