The Fashion Team’s White Denim Looks

My failsafe tip for elevating white denim is to keep it tonal. This summer, I’m pairing straight-leg jeans with a boho blouse, black sandals and a necklace for a clean, chic look. A silk scarf, like this one from ARKET, adds a pop of interest, whether tied to a bag or worn as a headscarf for extra impact. 

Barrel-leg jeans are my go-to for everyday comfort with a polished twist. I love pairing them with a boxy grey tee and red mesh flats for an effortless, off-duty look. A colourful cord belt adds a touch of personality, while a woven tote and navy cap pull everything together with a hit of texture and cool-girl edge.

A good pair of white denim shorts is a warm-weather essential, and this style ticks all the boxes – the ideal length and a slight flare make them endlessly wearable. I throw them on with a breezy short-sleeve shirt and raffia bag for a polished everyday look, or wear them over swimwear on holiday. For evenings in the city, I’ll swap in kitten heels and a crisp shirt to take things up a notch.

White is the ultimate blank canvas, and a white denim maxi skirt goes with just about everything, especially the bold colours I love to wear. This season, I’m leaning into stripes, and this red and pink shirt is the latest addition to my collection. It pairs beautifully with the skirt, and I’ve added a brown fringe-detail bag – one of my favourite shades to style with red.
