Moye Studio

The Story

A luxury brand that celebrates a versatile and minimal aesthetic, Warsaw-based MOYE was founded by sisters Melania and Magdalena Wyszomierska. Focused on perfecting its pieces through subtle, feminine designs, MOYE is for contemporary women. Expect timeless designs that are made to last.

The Style

With a focus on comfort and quality, all MOYE’s pieces are crafted from the best quality silk and have a fluid, delicate feel. A refined and classic colour palette – including black, white and ivory – ensures everything is versatile enough to work together, with elegant and functional pieces like the Marlene blazer, Gia shirt and Carrie Coal trousers all destined to become wardrobe staples.

What’s Different

Every detail and process is highly considered. Fabrics are sourced from Italian silk mills that comply with European ECOS standards and are chosen for their softness, while the knits have thermoregulating properties. Collections are handcrafted in Poland, in limited quantities to avoid overproduction – plus, the brand has worked with the same sewing company since the very beginning.

What’s Next

Some of MOYE’s hero styles have already sold out – including the Silk Knot clutch and Marlene Blazer – so we're hoping for a restock soon. With silk sitting at the heart of the brand, we can expect more of the same throughout SS23, along with plenty of seasonal updates on house signatures.

Filiarmi

The Story

Gozde Arig – who credits the creative nature of her parents for her passion for art and design – founded Filiarmi in March 2020. After graduating from the London College of Fashion, Gozde honed her design skills at Emilia Wickstead and Charles Anastase before launching her own business. A brand designed to empower women, it’s known for contemporary, minimal styles, and clever shapes that enhance and celebrate the female form.

The Style

All the styles are inherently feminine, with scallop edges, frill details framing bodices, sheer plunging necklines and puffed sleeves among some of the brand’s signatures. “This season sees a return of Filiarmi’s signature minimal scallop shapes. Sweetheart necklines and wistfully flowing silk skirts in nostalgic retro shades of dusty pink, navy blues, rich monochromes and dark yellow ochre,” Gozde says. Every length is catered for, and core styles like the Roma jumpsuit, the Dolly and the Sara are mainstays of the collection.

What’s Different

As part of its social responsibility pledge, Filiarmi makes regular donations from its sales to the Disabled Association of Turkey. Production takes place in Gozde’s native Istanbul so she can ensure manufacturing processes are high quality and ethical.

What’s Next

Next on the agenda is the launch of the brand’s Resort 2023 collection. Dropping just in time for party season, the capsule edit has been inspired by the Northern Lights and constellations including the Ara, Corvus and Eridanus. Expect lots of star appliqué and silver embellishments, as well as bold shades of aubergine and cherry, with dusky lilacs and ivory thrown in.

Ilta Studio

The Story

Ilta Studio was founded by former Topshop executives Hannah Gould and Hollie Thind. Unable to find the dresses they wanted, they turned their expertise into Ilta Studio back in 2019. A contemporary brand known for creating statement party wear, signatures include sequins and lots of ornate embellishment. Designed in London and made in India, artisanal craftsmanship and quality of fit both sit firmly at the heart of the brand.

The Style

Inspired by travel and Studio 54, you can expect to find a dress for every shape in the range. Mid-lengths and long sleeves offer a more modest and subtle take on party dressing, while the bell-sleeve styles nod to the 70s and the minis have more of a 60s feel. For real disco vibes, the Zuki dress is covered in tiny star sequins, clusters of dangling paillettes and strings of tiny silver beads.

What’s Different

Ilta is a small brand, so co-founders Hannah and Hollie have a hand in everything. Travelling to India to work on bespoke hand-beaded embellishments, and intricate sequin patterns, they make sure every piece is completely unique. The designers work in collaboration with a single family-owned factory that doesn’t mass produce – ensuring an element of exclusivity and limited waste.

What’s Next

Sequins and embellishments run through the SS23 collection and the brand will also introduce embellished co-ords. As well as updates on some of the signature styles, like the Zuki and the Astrid, there’ll be plenty more colour and newness to look forward to.
