Nara.Niro

Founded in 2018 by Noor Al-Rahim, Nara Niro creates contemporary collections that fuse art with fashion, while keeping traditional craftsmanship alive. Noor originally trained as an art and film historian, so each collection is inspired by art, film and literature.

The label specialises in hand embroidery and dyeing techniques, using mindful production methods to create elevated, versatile pieces. Look out for cut-out silhouettes, summer sequins, and ruffles in soft fabrics and subtle colours. You can also expect plenty of luxury fabrics like taffeta. Alongside more effortless styles, the brand offers a limited run of bags which have been beautifully made from leftover fabrics and embroidery off-cuts.

Séane

Sustainable and refined, Baltic brand Séane is all about conscious beachwear. Its name originates from three words – seen, serene and sea – and its pieces are crafted with the environment in mind. Everything is made using the finest recycled Italian lycra with Econyl regenerated nylon.

If you’re looking for a modern take on classic swim shapes, you’ll find everything from underwired bra tops to bralettes and plunge one-pieces. Everything is cleverly thought out to ensure maximum wearability. The signature bandeau comes with removable ties and adjustable straps, so it can be styled in multiple ways. The new Rose accessory can be added to bikini tops and bottoms for a touch of extra femininity.

Velvet Canyon

Australian brand Velvet Canyon encapsulates the relaxed lifestyle down under. Drawing inspiration from silhouettes of the past, its sunglasses are characterised by soft lines, caramel hues and timeless silhouettes. Our favourites include La Feline – the cat eye – as well as more retro shapes like the Havana with its tinted lenses and subtle gold detail.

Velvet Canyon’s sunglasses are all cruelty free and vegan. The frames are made from acetate that’s derived from cotton and wood pulp, and every pair has 100% UV protection lenses. Plus, the brand donates 1% of all online sales to the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre.
