An Influencer’s Top 10 Picks For Eid
The Kaftan
Kaftans are everywhere this year, and with brands like H&M offering such chic styles at affordable prices, it's making Eid fashion that little bit more inclusive for everyone.
The Shoes
A celebration like Eid always calls for sequins, so I’ll complete my look with some embellished heels for a touch of glamour.
The Henna
No Eid is complete without beautifully detailed henna, and this year I’ll be taking inspiration from the environment around me, as well as traditional prints including half crescent moon and star patterns.
The Perfume
Fragrance often sets the tone for the day and ouds are a must given their cultural heritage. Currently, I have Gissah La Luna, Ghawali fragrances and Hermès Oud Alezan on rotation.
The Trend
I’ve seen palm tree prints everywhere this Ramadan, so I’ll be incorporating them where possible during the Eid celebrations, including on my abayas and in my henna for a more playful touch.
The Make-Up Must Have
I prefer to wear make-up that enhances my complexion, so this skin-perfecting serum from Yaskin is great for encouraging some extra radiance.
The Abaya
I love colourful abayas for a bold, statement look. They’re such a versatile piece that can be dressed down with leggings or jeans, or dressed up for a sleek evening look.
The Bracelet
I love the delicate statement that hand chains make. They’re symbolic of traditional South Asian attire, adding a touch of cultural richness to any look.
The Bag
Mini bags always dress up an abaya, so why not go all out this year with this striking gold metallic style?
