The Street Style

Street style in Paris is always that little bit more extra, and this season we were not disappointed. Influencers put their best fashion foot forward with feathers, faux fur and bursts of colour, with regular faces like Aimee Song, Caroline Daur and Leonie Hanne leading the way.

Sheer

Giambattista Valli and Valentino spearheaded this trend, with stunning floor-length embellished tulle and chiffon gowns. These subtle reveal-all dresses will be the chicest way to do eveningwear next season.

Metallics

Designers fully lent into this trend with an abundance of sequins, glitter and high-shine metallics. Full-length gowns were seen at Giambattista Valli while Valentino reworked staples with a major injection of metallics and sequins.

Oversized Tailoring

Oversized tailoring has been a consistent trend throughout fashion month. Paris wrapped up with double-breasted floor-length silhouettes at Stella McCartney and belted menswear styles at Louis Vuitton.

The classic elegance of Saint Laurent was fused with exaggerated and powerful silhouettes as oversized shoulders took centre stage.

Victoria Beckham’s VIPs

Victoria Beckham made sure her show was a who’s who of her celebrity fashion friends. Jourdan Dunn and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley brought the A-list glamour to a star-studded front row.

The Goodbyes

The fashion elite waved goodbye to two legends during Paris Fashion Week. Vivienne Westwood’s widower Andreas Kronthaler presented a collection full of the best elements of Vivienne’s designs through the decades, and we saw new takes on the corset, platform boots and her iconic pirate boots.

Paco Rabanne was remembered with a glittering show of metallics and sci-fi inspired dresses reminiscent of those that made him famous in the 1960s.
