Everything This Cool Influencer Is Loving Right Now

It was her cool and laidback approach to fashion that put influencer Sandra Heinrich Sauceda on our radar – but as soon as we discovered she also had great taste in interiors, beauty and more, we jumped at the chance to ask her what she’s loving right now…

The Style Rule

My personal style is all about timeless wardrobe staples. I want to be able to wear each piece on repeat, and mix and match them with ease. It’s no wonder, then, that The Row has long been a go-to brand for me. From its staple knitwear to its expertly tailored outerwear, there’s a lot to love. It’s great to team these pieces with a couple of unique vintage finds, or a men's t-shirt (H&M does the best), Levi’s 501s and an oversized blazer from Frankie Shop. My other essentials include simple turtlenecks in a couple colours, a couple of oversized wool coats, a shearling jacket and a chunky knit.

The Under-The-Radar Brand

BETTER is a brand worth knowing about. Its key purpose is to upcycle and rework clothing – from blazers to trousers – and reinvent them as elevated, cool staples with a twist. I’m also obsessed with the founder Julie’s personal style, which mostly consists of mega suits and shirts.

The Look

Tailored black trousers and a white t-shirt are always a good look – and one of my personal favourites. My advice is: add a great pair of trainers, then style things up with some vintage accessories. If all I’m doing is running errands, I tend to go a bit slouchier – usually that means a knit or a sweatshirt and some jeans. The same applies to travelling – comfy and lounge-y sweatpants with a cropped sweatshirt.

The Shopping Location

Thrift shops are one of my favourite places to pick up new-to-me pieces. I get overwhelmed shopping on the high street and often end up buying things I don’t need. Thrifting or second-hand vintage shopping is far more fun. If I do end up buying something, I know I’ll cherish it forever. In terms of online vintage shopping, Vestiaire Collective or TheRealReal are my two go-tos. You have to be willing to hunt a bit, but if you’re lucky, you’ll find that wish list piece you’ve been eyeing up, but for half the price.

My personal style is all about TIMELESS WARDROBE STAPLES. I want to be able to WEAR EACH PIECE ON REPEAT, and mix and match them with ease. It’s no wonder, then, that The Row has long been a go-to brand for me.

The Muse

Matilda Djerf has such an identifiable and signature style. I love that she’s stayed true to who she is – it makes her seem like quite a genuine personality online.

The Beauty Discovery

My favourite new beauty discovery is Rhode’s lip treatment. It has transformed my lips by hydrating them – they now feel so soft and protected.

The Travel Destination

I’m looking forward to travelling more this year. I’d love to go back to Germany – which is where I’m from originally – for my next trip. It would be great to see my old friends and reminisce about the good old days. My dad has just moved to the Philippines, so I’m adding that to my list as well. California is also high up the list, as is Japan – unique sightseeing and great food incoming.

THRIFTING OR SECOND-HAND VINTAGE SHOPPING IS FAR MORE FUN. If I do end up buying something, I know I’ll cherish it forever.

The Interiors Account

When it comes to interiors, I’ve had my eye on Pieter Peulen lately. He posts such stunning photos of his home that are exactly what I want my own home to look and feel like – I take a lot of inspiration from his content.

The Foodie Go-Tos

If I’m honest, I’d eat breakfast for breakfast, lunch and dinner. My go-to at the moment is scrambled eggs or protein pancakes – plus a coffee with a splash of milk. I love a filling meal – I’m not really a big snacker. If I do need a midday pick-me-up, I usually choose some dark chocolate-covered nuts. For dinner, I try to make something like salmon and white rice or some sweet potato fries with a side salad – easy and quick.

The Podcast

Huberman LAB has a great podcast. It talks about how our brains work and its connection to the rest of our organs. It’s been really interesting learning about how our perceptions, behaviours and our health are all linked. When it comes to TV though, I’ve been bingeing Better Call Saul. I also recommend watching Breaking Bad, which picks up the same story afterwards.
