The Base Layer
The weather will turn cold soon and when it does, I love the idea of wearing these printed base layers. The roll-neck will work just as well with high-waisted denim and boots as it will with salopettes come ski season.
The Coats
I try to not succumb to coat trends – I just buy what I like and what I know I'll wear. That's grey for everyday and a little black cape coat for dressier occasions.
The Workwear Update
I love the idea of teaming this jacket with blue barrel-leg jeans, a cream roll-neck and heels. It will also work so well with leather skirts and trousers.
The Boots
A square-toed boot always gets my attention. Easy to wear with relaxed denim or tailored pants, they instantly make me feel put together.
The Bag
I'm loving small bags this season and I'm trying to minimise what I carry – a phone, lip balm and mini fragrance is enough. This Saint Laurent Le 37 mini will add colour day and night.
The Sunglasses
Trends come and go but I am a cat-eye loyalist. It's the only shape that works for me. This Bottega pair will work with everything.
The Flats
For a more unique take on a Mary-Jane this season, these Jil Sander shoes are top of my party season wish list.
The Jewellery
Reformation's first jewellery collection collab with designer Clare Waight Keller is here. Featuring an assortment of earrings, bracelets and necklaces made with recycled 24-karat gold vermeil, sterling silver and semi-precious stones, it will definitely jazz up everyday looks.
The Investment Piece
Brown suede and cosy shearling... It might be spendy, but I love this Isabel Marant gilet. Perfect over double denim.
The Denim
I tried New-York-based Kallmeyer at Boutique N in Kuwait recently and the Clemence jeans are just so flattering. These, and the long, classic Agolde Kelly are firm favourites.

From the cashmere to the blazers and accessories, I'm so here for the new M&S autumn/winter drop. For classic, quality wardrobe staples, the prices are hard to beat.
The Accessory
This hooded scarf is equal parts practical and stylish. Layer it under trench coats and tailored wool coats for warmth and contrast.

I'm after knits with a difference this year. Whether it's a Fair Isle motif or texture and scarf detail, everyone needs a few novelty pieces to elevate the everyday.
