Airport Style Ideas From The Fashion Team

Linen trousers are my default airport outfit during the summer months – they’re so comfortable. I’ll always style them with a warm sweatshirt, like this 4th & Reckless logo style, and possibly an additional jumper as I tend to get cold. Jimmy Choo has the most comfortable shoes – I love this new suede style. I’ll complete the look with a tote bag, and my everyday sunglasses and gold hoops.

Dressing for the plane for me is more about comfort than anything else. A pair of silky trousers feel just like you’re wearing PJs – plus a cool sweatshirt styles things up a little and is great in-flight when it gets chilly. I'll always have a good pair of sunnies to throw on post-flight and a big basket or tote for all the essentials.

When it comes to an airport outfit you will never find me in a tracksuit or leggings. My holiday looks start from the very moment I am heading to the airport so it's always a dressy occasion for me – I pick style over comfort every time. I recently flew to Mozambique in this gorgeous denim bustier dress, teamed with comfy kitten heels and a bomber jacket for when it got a little bit chilly on the plane. I completed the look with my holiday bag and sunglasses so they were one less thing to pack in my suitcase.

A baggy t-shirt is always my go-to when travelling – and with some loose denim shorts, I get that cool and cosy look. I always wear a cap to keep my hair back, and this style from Miu Miu injects colour into the outfit. Trainers are a must when travelling and these Adidas Gazelles have been everywhere – partly because they’re so easy to style with every look.

I always go for comfy vibes when travelling, and pyjama trousers are the perfect option. Smarter than joggers, they’re just as practical. WOERA has the best styles – I love the thick stripes of these ones. An oversized sweater is a must, and this Anine Bing x Reebok one is currently top of my wish list. Finish with a basket bag, sunnies and some red pumps.

I like to be comfy when I travel, but I still like to feel considered. Keeping that in mind, I always go for soft, loose-fitting denim like these Citizens Brynn jeans, with an easy tank, and a jumper or a cardigan with a bit more detail layered over the top. I love the preppy feel of this Frame version; the pocket detail, the contrast whipstitching and the crochet effect. Métier does the best travel bags so I'll finish the look with this suede hold-all, oval sunnies and comfy flats.
