The Fashion, Trends & Looks This Cool Tastemaker Loves Right Now
The Colour
Purple is my colour obsession right now – especially in silk. It makes such a statement and it’s an extremely chic way to add some colour to your looks. I have a pair of silky trousers that I wear with a navy sweater and gold vintage jewellery.
The Trend
I’m very into catsuits this season. The idea of a one piece is just so simple – I love the ease of styling and the versatility it offers. I’d opt for a large waist belt, pumps and a blazer for a chic evening out, or team it with knee-high boots and an oversized belted cardigan for the day.
ALIA; VICTORIA BECKHAM
The Fashion Brand
Victoria Beckham is so good right now. She’s struck the perfect balance between masculine and feminine this season – which really speaks to my personal style. As someone who has followed her fashion journey for a while, the last two seasons have been my favourite. Some designs feel bold, but they’re still so wearable – it’s a brand that makes you feel good in its clothes, which is what I always look for.
The Combo
This winter, I’ve been living in my vintage denim. I have so many in different washes and tend to find them in flea markets or at vintage stores – usually it’s Levi’s or Wrangler. To style them, layers are key – a crisp button-down shirt from Frame or The Row with a Jen Wonders Studio blazer or sweater. For shoes I’ll add some kitten-heel boots from Totême or Jimmy Choo, but on the weekends I’ll swap these out for New Balance trainers.
The Show
The Chanel AW22/23 show was incredible. It’s always a wonderful experience to see a Chanel show in person. Creative director Virginie Viard added some very contemporary silhouettes to the collection, while staying true to the classic Chanel aesthetic throughout.

The Muse
Katharine Hepburn is my style muse. Her style was so incredible at the time and it’s still relevant today – feminine, yet strong and elegant. I love the way she wore those amazing masculine suits and added pearl necklaces for a feminine touch.

The Lesser-Known Label
Nour Hammour coats have been some of my favourites for a couple of years now. The designer is so talented, and her outerwear is just fantastic. I wore one of her studded leather coats during Fashion Week and it's still one of the most worn pieces in my closet.
The Silhouette
I’m into shirts with blazers this winter, as well as vintage pieces and more 80s-style silhouettes – think big shoulders, belted waists and retro patterns.
The Detail
Anything with a large collar instantly gets my attention – especially on shirts and tailoring. I let the collar do the talking by buttoning it all the way up and adding a vintage brooch for a more elevated look.
The Accessories Trend
I’m very into vintage jewellery right now, especially 80s and 90s chunky necklaces and rings. They elevate any look in seconds – even just a simple tee and jeans. A pointy kitten heeled boot isn't far behind when it comes to favourite pieces – wear with a long maxi skirt or your go-to denim.
The Texture
This season, it’s all about that second-skin look and sheer fabrics. A tulle top under a chunky sweater and blazer or a pair of sheer printed leggings peeping through a skirt are my favourite ways to wear the look.
The Denim Update
Baggy, low-waisted, medium-wash blue denim looks great with a blazer or something more structured on top. I feel like I’ll slowly return to skinny jeans in black or dark grey at some point – mainly with boots, and an oversized hoodie or chunky knit.
The Wildcard Item
Saint Laurent’s viral mesh and rhinestone boots are iconic. While they’re pretty bold, I think they’re actually pretty easy to wear. Team them with a long black silk skirt and a blazer or a mini dress and an extra-long coat.
