Can you recommend any office-appropriate flats?

Woven leather styles are everywhere this summer. Offering a more elevated take on mesh flats, they’re a great option for the office. There are lots to choose from, but I really like this dark coloured pair from Massimo Dutti. Look out for buckle details, too.

My hen do is in Ibiza this September, and I need a chic, fashion-forward outfit that doesn’t scream ‘bridal’…

There are so many pieces out there that would work for this. A swimsuit that just nods to bridal would be chic – I’m loving flower appliqués and ruffles. A fun bag is a must, too – I saw this Zara one, which is perfect for a hen do abroad. Something in raffia won’t scream bridal either – I like this frayed design by J. Crew. For clothes, a white knitted dress would be top of my list. I saw this NA-KD one, and Mango also has an elegant edit at the moment – this dress would be a great evening piece. Make sure you take some statement earrings with you, too. This pair say bridal, but they could also be worn plenty in the future.

I bought a pink maxi dress from Mango for a friend's wedding in July – any thoughts on the shoes and a bag?

Go for a really comfortable heel – I have some very similar to this white pair from Mango and was pleasantly surprised when I got through an entire wedding last year pain-free. Alternatively, Zara has these simple heels, which are a great height. Mango has some good bag options too, many of which would be a useful wardrobe addition for the future. Laia Alen is a small brand that makes lovely bags – I like this red one, and pink and red always make a good combination.

Going-out tops that are versatile enough to work for casual dinners and events are hard to find – any tips?

Tie-detail tops with wide-leg jeans and a little heel is my go-to look right now. Brands I would recommend include NA-KD – I love this puff-sleeved top – or try bodysuits; my go-to brands are Zara and Free People. I also think a black satin top can work with jeans but for something more statement, consider this one from By Malene Birger. Bernadette is another fun brand and finally, never forget to check out Reformation for good going-out tops.

Trying to decide which sandals to buy this season – what are you thinking?

This is a common question – probably because sandals can be tricky. Trends come and go, but I tend to stick to simple styles. This A.Emery lace-up pair give The Row vibes at a much better price. Also, thong sandals are officially back. In black or white leather, they go with everything – think relaxed jeans and a jumper now, then dresses once summer really hits. I am also loving all the styles this season that have metal details, like this pair on Zara.
