An Influencer’s Autumn/Winter Coat Wardrobe
The Cool Jacket
A casual leather jacket is one of my favourite things to wear at this time of year. This one has been in my wardrobe for three seasons already and I love the straight, oversized look of it. The leather is vegan but still feels and looks like the real deal. I’ll often wear mine with wide-leg jeans and pointed-toe heels. To dress it up, I’d add a miniskirt, tights and knee-high boots – before going all out with some fun jewellery.
The Maxi Wool Coat
This is one of the most timeless silhouettes you can invest in. This particular coat is from a Danish brand called Second Female. With a polished, straight shape and a maxi length, it feels classic but still on-trend. I’d suggest keeping things simple here – team it with a polo neck, wide-leg trousers or jeans and kitten heels.
The Modern Trench
A trench coat is always classic, but the contrast stitching and oversized fit of this one make it relevant for now. My style is usually very monochrome, so I would add a white top, layered with a black cardigan, a black mini and some semi sheer tights.
The Classic Blazer
You can wear a blazer for nearly every occasion. I have a vintage black style which is one of the most worn pieces in my wardrobe. For work, I would wear it with a pair of straight or wide-leg jeans, a basic top and nice trainers. For a night out, swap out the jeans for black trousers and silver heels. In terms of fit, I prefer oversized cuts and typically check out the men’s section and vintage shops.
The Pinstripe Blazer
While a classic black blazer goes with anything, I love this for something with a bit more interest. Another vintage gem, I love the oversized fit and the big shoulders. It’s giving me Saint Laurent AW23 vibes. This particular combo has a Parisian style to it, but I'll also wear it with a pair of blue baggy jeans with a crisp white shirt tucked in. Cinch things in with a belt.
