Insiders' Edit : The Blazer I'm Buying This Season

Our newest series asks regular contributors to share the key pieces they’re loving – for the first edition, we’ve asked them to share their favourite blazer.

All products on this page have been selected by our editorial team, however we may make commission on some products.

Ebony Francis

Double-Breasted Herringbone Cotton-Blend Blazer, £850 | Acne Studios

My first ever piece from Acne Studios was a distressed linen blazer from 2009, and this season's double-breasted herringbone version is distinctly reminiscent of it, with updated, modern details. These include wide-peak lapels, dropped shoulders and elongated sleeves. It’s perfect over a 90s black maxi slip dress, chunky long boots and a statement lip.

Hannah Strafford Taylor

Double-Breasted Checked Wool-Blend Blazer, £2,365 | Saint Laurent

A blazer is something I wear on repeat, so investing in a good one is key. I’ve always been a lover of Saint Laurent tailoring – the sharp and oversized shoulders especially. It’s also slightly oversized and boxy which I love. I have been wearing mine with high-waisted jeans and trousers with a bodysuit, or dressed down with leggings and boots for an everyday look.

India Sehmi

Erin Oversized Blazer, £65 | Weekday

I'm loving sage green at the moment because it’s equally stylish with light and dark colours, making it the perfect choice to pair with my winter wardrobe. This particular oversized silhouette is a must for me – the shape gives me some serious Frankie Shop vibes for a fraction of the price. I’ve mainly been teaming it with black jeans and a white tee for an effortless combo.

Bea Blazer, £307 | The Frankie Shop

You can’t go wrong with a great black blazer like this one from The Frankie Shop. The oversized fit gives it a modern edge and I love pairing it with everything from jeans in the daytime to dresses in the evening.

Sarah Clark

James Coat, £310 | Sézane

I had my eye on this for a while before it landed on the site. And it was well worth the wait. I love that it’s longer than my other blazers, plus it’s wool and really warm. I’ll be wearing it well into the winter.

Kaia Blazer, £445 | Anine Bing

The price makes this an investment, but I guarantee it will work hard in your wardrobe for years to come. The fit elevates any outfit, making it effortless yet pulled-together. I’d style it with stirrup leggings and loafers for a cool, work-appropriate look. For something more casual, I’d opt for a simple t-shirt, black jeans and Converse high tops.
