Laura Black Shares Her January Must-Haves
The Cashmere Hero
Investing in a cashmere hood has been one of my best decisions this season. These Saint Laurent styles are soft, cosy and slightly more forgiving on your hair.

The Bodysuit
Intimissimi offers great thermals that feel slightly more elevated. I’ll be layering this cream roll-neck bodysuit under shirts and jumpers for an extra bit of warmth.
The Boots
Shearling-lined boots are the dream. I’ve had my eye on this Isabel Marant pair for a while – slouchy and laidback, they’d make the perfect addition to any off-duty wardrobe.

The Hood
I’ll be forgoing umbrellas on windy days in favour of mock hoods. Cos has some great affordable options for layering under coats and jackets.
The Scarf
Acne Studios releases new scarves every season, each slightly different from the last. Currently it’s the tactile, fuzzy wool version I love. It's long enough to wrap around twice.
Grey Fringed Wool Scarf, £180 | Acne
Pink Fringed Wool Scarf, £110 | Acne
The Jacket
I'm a down jacket obsessive. These H&M ones are giving designer vibes for a lot less – and I don’t have a cream one yet.
The Socks
It’s no secret that we love Pairs socks at SL. Whether you opt for alpaca or lambswool, you won’t be disappointed – they are the best.
The Knit
Some of my most loved cashmere over the years has come from Jigsaw. The sale is always worth a look and classic styles like this cream turtleneck will go with everything.
