The Bags

This Jil Sander bag has become a bit of a constant over the past couple of weeks, but raffia and woven styles are the pieces I’ve got my eye on right now. Specifically, I’ve spotted this cool raffia style from Khaite, which I’d love to take on holiday, while the St. Agni one is perfect for springtime in the city.

The Scarf

A good scarf can elevate any look. It works draped over blazers, trenches or just with a t-shirt or tied around the neck in various ways. You could even tie it onto bags or wear it in your hair – it’s such a versatile piece to have. If you want to push the boat out, opt for a cool print to inject some colour into your looks.

The Denim

Jeans like this are a year-round staple, but this type of wash is a no-brainer for spring. Just add pointed-toe flats, a simple tee and a trench.

The Knit

While grey, black and navy are still a part of my spring wardrobe, cream knits like this feel lighter and brighter for this time of year. I’d wear it with wide-leg trousers and a belt, or tied loosely over a blazer or trench as an alternative to a scarf.

The Dress

COS has long been a favourite brand of mine, and I’ve recently spied this white asymmetric dress in its latest collection. It’ll easily transition from day to night – just style it up with gold jewellery and a fun bag. You could also throw a blazer over it on colder evenings.

The Flats

Mesh flats are everywhere right now, and these high-street ones are so similar to the ones from the The Row. I would wear them with black wide-leg trousers and an oversized cashmere jumper.

The Heels

A pop of red always promises to make an outfit that bit more interesting – and these open-toe strappy sandals are perfect for daytime brunches or styled up with smarter pieces for an evening out.

The Ring

A statement gold ring adds an elegant touch to any look. As someone who loves monochrome, cool jewellery like this is essential to bring my outfits to life.

09

The Earrings

Pearl earrings are the perfect accessory to make any outfit more interesting. I’d wear these ones with a sleek black blazer in the evening or with a white shirt during the day.

The Skirt

This skirt is everything. I’d just add a long-sleeved top and flats in a similar colour, finishing up with your favourite everyday jewellery.

The Trousers

You can’t go wrong with wide-leg cream trousers for spring. With shirts, tees, knitwear and any kind of footwear, they’ll be one of the most versatile pieces you invest in this season.

The Outerwear

I typically have a couple of staple coats and jackets in my spring wardrobe, and some of my go-to brands include By Malina, Toteme, Attire and House Of Dagmar. Trenches are such a classic choice. I have a great one from Toteme, but also have my eye on this one from Attire. It’s so perfect and the quality is so good. I’ll still pull on a wool coat on chillier days, and I have this House Of Dagmar style in two colours already – it’s probably one of my most-worn pieces. I’d love to add this camel one to my wardrobe this spring.

The Day To Night Top

The textured plissé fabric, plus the asymmetric neckline and front split details, make this top such a statement piece – yet it isn't too hard to wear. All you need are wide-leg trousers or a long pencil skirt.

The Elevated Mules

While flats are always practical and stylish, I’ve had my eye on something a little different this year, and love how mules add interest to tailored trousers, long skirts or dresses.
