Wearing the same colour from head to toe is an instant way to make more of your wardrobe staples without a lot of effort or fuss.  I’ve worn this look with trainers and an oversized leather jacket during the day, and with diamanté earrings and heels at night.

For the office, I’ll be keeping things simple with jeans and a t-shirt. That might sound casual to some, but you can elevate the look with a bouclé tweed jacket and some classic pumps. The pumps could easily be swapped out for a heel if you’re going out to a dinner or a more formal meeting.

I’ll use any excuse to bring out the sparkles, and this 16Arlington top is one of my favourite ways to do so. The brand really knows how to do partywear and although I tend to go with a much more relaxed approach when it comes to the styling – teaming it with a blouse and a pair of low-rise baggy jeans – this top elevates the entire vibe, as does some chic jewellery, heels and a bag.

Off-duty outfits should be comfortable but still cool. This denim maxi skirt ticks both boxes and can be worn in the same way as a pair of jeans. I love that it feels more current than a simple jeans-and-a-jumper look.

Double denim is a fail-safe look and, depending what your schedule looks like, you can dress things up or down with the accessories. For daytime, I would add a chunky boot from The Row – the tighter the fit around the ankle, the less things will feel too boxy. I've also added some silver accessories to make it feel a little more polished.

A blazer is pretty much the starting point of all my evening looks. It makes even the most basic of outfits feel a little more pulled together. Having said that, I have really gone all out with lace trousers and Cinderella shoes on this occasion. If you didn't go for it at Christmas, there’s still time...
