Silk dresses always make a statement and this one more than speaks for itself – so there’s no need for any additional accessories. I’ve paired mine with strappy heels but will swap them out for ballet flats I’m wearing it to something more casual in the daytime. If this bold shade isn't for you, La Collection do the same style in an off-white too.

My go-to summer uniform is definitely a waistcoat, wide leg trousers and chic sandals. You can easily dress this combination down with sneakers or up by adding a blazer and a pair of pumps. COS is my go-to for good basics like waistcoats.

Wearing a total look is the easiest way to elevate your outfit without putting in a lot of effort. I rely on this formula time and again and it always makes me feel cool and put-together. The shirt is by Shopssei and the trousers are from St. Agni. A statement belt adds a little more interest.

Sticking to the theme of waistcoats, another way to style one is with a sleek matching skirt and this cool Jil Sander bag – plus, some heels by Neous.

My favourite way to keep summer fashion interesting is by wearing a silk scarf as a top. It’s also great if you’re packing light and you can get so many different looks out of one. I last wore this look in Mallorca with linen trousers and my trusty old Celine belt.
