The Stylish Influencers We Loved In 2022
BEST USE OF COLOUR:
Babba C. Rivera
We love how Swedish businesswoman and entrepreneur Babba experiments with colour. One look at her Instagram feed is proof enough that fun and fashion go hand in hand. From head-to-toe colour to clashing pattern and prints, she really showed us how to make a statement this year.
BEST FRENCH GIRL STYLE:
The French girls always get it so right and by showcasing her timeless style in silk slip dresses, oversized masculine coats and vintage accessories, stylist Geraldine Boublil quickly became our go-to for French-girl inspiration.
BEST WORKWEAR LOOKS:
We can’t get enough of Olympia’s twists on traditional tailoring and workwear. As J.Crew’s head of womenswear, it’s no surprise to see she has that masculine/feminine mix nailed. Take cues and clash colours for a contemporary approach.
BEST HIGH/LOW MIX:
Track athlete and fashion content creator Marilyn Nwawulor-Kazemaks has a seriously cool aesthetic that straddles the line between masculine and feminine. We loved watching her experimental style develop this year and how she mixed elevated pieces with streetwear.
BEST CAPSULE WARDROBE:
Finland-based Sofia takes a classic approach to dressing. Investing in high-quality pieces from luxury brands, she mixes these with high-street basics to nail her polished and clean aesthetic. Blazers, white shirts and cropped blue jeans all featured heavily in 2022.
BEST HOLIDAY INSPO:
Sara makes us want to pack up and head to the sun. Mixing eclectic patterns, slinky silhouettes and elevated accessories, the result is seriously chic. We loved her cotton two-pieces and elegant summer evening looks.
BEST LUXURY TASTE:
Rikke Krefting Ulstein
We loved Rikke’s luxury aesthetic in 2022. Her clean and polished imagery made the most of hero pieces in high-end locations – and it gave us serious inspo. We love the black and white shots best.
BEST RUNWAY LOOKS:
The German-born, London-based model isn’t afraid to go that extra step when it comes to styling. Her look is playful, confident and fun, and she doesn’t shy away from wearing statement couture pieces straight of the runway. More was more for her in 2022.
BEST OFF-DUTY STYLE:
We’re always looking for fresh inspiration when it comes to weekend uniforms and off-duty looks, and Lison got it spot on this year. Jeans, hoodies, masculine coats, caps… She made them look all the more stylish.
Sleek silhouettes, neutral colour palettes and clean lines put Caroline Lin top of our list for minimalist style this year. Her unrivalled monochrome looks and take on loose tailoring was second to none.
