I have a long weekend in Devon coming up, so I'll be packing cool, practical pieces and comfy layers. I love these striped trousers from The Frankie Shop – perfect for breezy beach walks and trips to the pub. Navygrey is my go-to for classic cottons, and its new linen tee is such a good shape. No staycation in the UK is complete without a bit of cashmere, and the high street always has so many good options. Finally, this polo sweat from Sporty & Rich will add a slightly vintage, collegiate vibe to my capsule holiday wardrobe.

My holiday wardrobe isn't complete without a vibrant, printed co-ord and this set from Whistles can be paired with flat sandals or a micro heel for an easy, everyday look. No beach look is complete without a raffia bag and this style is the perfect size for all my essentials. Colourful swimwear is always on my radar and this one-piece can be paired with some relaxed linen to nail cool-girl holiday style.

There are a few pieces that always come with me on a summer break. First, a white linen co-ord – and this is something H&M does so well. I also can’t go away without a big basket bag; I love the simplicity of this one by Hereu. I always love a pair of statement earrings too. These ones by Soru are so useful for adding interest to the simplest of outfits. I also recently got this Nanushka black swimsuit, which is so chic.

Mallorca has a beachy, colourful vibe but there's also plenty of opportunity to dress up for dinner in Palma. That’s why I typically pack easy-to-throw-on dresses in vibrant but wearable shades, along with some statement jewellery for a bit of fun.

I’m heading to the south of France and Bermuda shorts are at the top of my packing list. This versatile linen pair from Mango can be worn with a striped shirt for a relaxed daytime look or with a corset top at night. I always pack at least one statement dress and this red maxi from Massimo Dutti will look great with chunky gold jewellery. I tend to opt for minimalist swimwear and layering these mesh floral trousers over a swimsuit will create an effortless poolside look.
