Blue and camel make for a chic, sophisticated pairing. Whether it’s a camel coat draped over a pale blue shirt or a loose blouse tucked into tailored camel trousers, the combination works well for both casual and smart occasions. Add gold jewellery and white accessories to finish.

Whoever said navy and black should never be worn together was wrong. It's a fail-safe combination that always looks polished. I like to add a flash of silver as a fresh accent through my jewellery and through the hardware on my leather accessories to complete the look.

I’ll never get bored of chocolate brown, and during the winter it works perfectly with rich pops of burgundy. I’ll style these silky trousers with an oversized cable knit and some pointed boots for a cosy everyday look. This burgundy clutch bag is my latest obsession. Finally, layering a chunky gold cuff over any jumper always adds a bit of polish.

Although I usually like wearing bright block colours together, as the seasons change I prefer to pair neutral tones with something bold to make the look more seasonally appropriate. Red and grey complement each other so well. There are so many brilliant grey pieces available on the high street right now, especially when it comes to tailoring. I'm also obsessed with the cut of these COS heels and this mock croc shoulder bag from Reformation.

Red was big news last autumn/winter and this season I’m seeing a lot of red and pink styled together. For me, the look is a little feminine, but paired with a darker espresso brown, the trio really come together. I'd opt for my usual A/W heroes – think knitwear, cords, loafers – but use this colour scheme to make things a little bit different.
