A change in season calls for a refresh of your wardrobe staples – something Anna Stanislawczyk is so good at. Here are the capsule pieces she’s relying on and how she plans to wear them this spring.

Longline Wool Blazer Mole, £620 | Totême

I’m a big fan of blazers and this oversized silhouette always makes me feel more confident. The colour is less obvious than black or grey, but it still sits within a neutral colour palette so you can wear it with other pieces in your wardrobe. It comes with matching trousers, but I tend to style it with a white tank and wide silky trousers.

Available at Toteme-Studio.com

Drew Denim Pants, €124 | The Frankie Shop

For me, baggier is always better, so I’m loving the cut of these grandad-style, low-rise jeans. Wear them with a simple white t-shirt, taupe blazer and flat slingbacks for a clean, fresh look.

Available at TheFrankieShop.com

Leather Loafers, £89 | COS

Buttery soft, simple but so stylish, these look perfect with black wide-leg jeans, a blue shirt and a chocolate brown blazer.

Available at COS.com

Short Lavallière Scarf In Silk Satin, £235 | YSL

This lavallière scarf is the easiest way to add instant sophistication to your look. It looks great with a blazer worn as a top or with a slightly unbuttoned white shirt.

Available at YSL.com

Freya Satin Midi Dress, £159 | Ghost

Ghost’s Archive collection showcases all of its best signature silhouettes and this is such a hero piece. I love the neckline and how easy it is to dress down. I wear it all the time.

Available at Ghost.co.uk

T-Lock Textured-Leather Clutch, £750 | Totême

This two-in-one hero works as a crossbody and as a clutch, so I love wearing it with both smart and casual looks. While it looks great in both colours, I personally prefer the tan.

Available at NET-A-PORTER.com

Wide Leg Denim, €250 | Dagmar

Wide-leg jeans are so useful during the transitional season and I typically go for lighter washes – like this grey pair from House of Dagmar. They’re the perfect shape.

Available at HouseOfDagmar.com

Uma Leather Mary Jane Ballet Flats, £245 | Aeyde

You can’t go wrong with a pair of Mary Janes – especially ones with a modern square toe. Wear these in a classic way or add socks for more interest. I tend to wear mine with jeans, bias-cut maxi skirts or tailored trousers.

Available at NET-A-PORTER.com

Freshwater Pearl Studs, £19 | ARKET

These gold-plated pearl earring are timeless, subtle and elegant. I like that ARKET’s jewellery blends classic with contemporary details.

Available at ARKET.com

Treviso Jacket, £287 | Stylein

With a boxy cut and a flattering gathered waist, this jacket feels modern yet timeless all at once. It would look great with white, straight-leg jeans or tailored trousers.

Available at Stylein.com

Le Coeur Leather Shoulder Bag, £790 | Alaïa

This bag has really grown on me. I find it adds a little bit of fun to any look. I’ve seen the black and red everywhere but I really love the white.

Available at Maison-Alaia.com

Fallapella High-Waisted Trousers, £340 | By Malene Birger

From the colour to the volume, By Malene Birger trousers are a dream. I would wear them with a hip-length fitted jumper and pointed black flats.

Available at ByMaleneBirger.com

Cropped Cotton Shirt, £55 | ARKET

This is the most-worn piece in my wardrobe at the moment. A white shirt is such a staple but this cropped version adds a contemporary twist. Pair it with high-waisted trousers and jeans or even a fitted maxi skirt.

Available at ARKET.com

Paris Tweed Jacket Chai, £229 | Marcéla

With a timeless cropped silhouette and in a beautiful beige, this is what I wear to nail cool French-girl style. A pair of baggy jeans and an adidas Samba would complete the look.
