The Style Muse

My style inspiration doesn’t really hinge on one person but rather a collection of vintage editorials and iconic images – think young Angelina Jolie, Lee Radziwill, the Olsen sisters and Zoë Kravitz, along with old-school Calvin Klein ads, the film Tequila Sunrise, and young Yves Saint Laurent. Together, they are a perfect blend of timeless cool and understated glamour.

The Brands To Watch

Rohé, CENC, Baar Baar and Ghiaia Cashmere are brands I’m loving right now. Rohé is known for its clean tailoring and modern sophistication, while Ukraine’s CENC is great at putting an avant-garde twist on basics. Korean label Baar Baar offers a fresh take on layering and proportions, while Ghiaia Cashmere delivers timeless, luxurious knitwear. Each of them has found that perfect balance of elegance and individuality.

The Colour Crush

Butter yellow – or mellow yellow – is my current obsession. I first noticed it in TOTEME’s collection, where it was styled so well. I love pairing it with black, camel or even as a monochrome tonal look.

The Key Follows

Recently, I’ve been drawn to people with a strong perspective and distinct eye. On Instagram, I love @SOBALERA, while TikTok accounts like @MAXFARREN and @MISCHSWEENEY bring something unique to the table. I’m also following @CHARISSEKENION on TikTok – she revisits iconic looks from the past and gives them a fresh spin. It’s like taking a fascinating beauty history class every time she posts.

The Luxe Splurge

The boat shoes from Saman Amel have quickly become a favourite. They’re beautifully made and so comfortable. I love the masculine touch they add to any outfit – truly a timeless wardrobe addition.

The Affordable Find

These textured shoes from Massimo Dutti are on my radar. They add a cool, interesting feel to an outfit thanks to the material, and the design is very The Row coded. Affordable and effortlessly chic – what’s not to love?

The Trend To Back

Retro-inspired sneakers like Mary Jane trainers and soccer styles are making a comeback. They’re practical yet cool, and when paired with those smarter pieces, they can completely transform an outfit.

The Current Aesthetic

I’m drawn to a mix of sporty and elevated pieces – think anoraks, technical jackets or a sporty Ralph Lauren zip-up styled with chic trousers or dresses. Polos are also having a moment – they lend masculine balance to those more feminine, put-together outfits. Overall, I’m leaning towards softer fabrics, relaxed silhouettes and this redefinition of sexiness.

The Style Resolution

This year, I want to stay true to myself and play more with accessories and textures. I’m also focusing on investing in second-hand pieces that I truly love and need.

The Fashion ‘Out’

I don’t believe in ‘ins’ and ‘outs’ because it still follows the trend cycle in some way. However, if I had to pick one thing, fast fashion is a definite out for me. I’m much more about shopping for timeless pieces and vintage gems.

The Winter Scent

For January, it’s Vanilla Powder by Matiere Premiere. It’s warm, woody and powdery – with the kind of sandalwood notes that I adore. Plus, it always earns me compliments.

The Make-up Bag Heroes

I recently discovered the Dior Forever Skin foundation stick. While I don’t usually wear foundation, this has such a natural finish. The Hermès bronzer trio is also perfect for winter – it brings just the right amount of warmth to my pale skin.

The Wellness Goals

In 2025, I’m focusing on drinking more water, eating out less and increasing my protein intake. I’m also committed to building a consistent bodycare routine with oils, creams and lymphatic massages. Fitness-wise, I’m continuing my Pilates journey and plan to try hot Pilates soon.

The Interiors Update

I’m adding more personality to my space. My current favourites include a Nordic Knots x Tase Gallery rug with an animal print, the Gubi Timberline floor lamp for a natural and playful touch, and the Artek Aalto screen for added dimension. The Artek Zebra cushion covers bring warmth, while silver shelves provide a chic accent – perfect for candles and books.
