BRUNCH: Ella Canta

Ella Canta, the celebrated Mexican restaurant from renowned chef Martha Ortiz, has launched an enticing new weekend brunch menu with unlimited margaritas and a tempting array of dishes. We like the sound of scrambled eggs Mexican style with black beans and maize totopos; and Mexican bread stuffed with slow cooked pork and adobo salsa – a particularly popular hangover cure in Mexico, we hear.

FRAGRANCE: Escentric 02 Power Of 10

To celebrate the tenth anniversary of their second ever scent, Escentric 02, cult fragrance brand Escentric Molecules has rehoused the signature eau de toilette in an anodised aluminium case. A fresh-yet-velvety scent, EM 02 is a seriously addictive (and slightly gin and tonic-esque) blend of ambroxan and hedione, otherwise known as green jasmine bud. Trust us, if you haven’t yet tried it, it’s like nothing you’ve smelt before.

INSTAGRAM: French Words

One for the Francophiles – this curated Insta account run by a Parisian couple is a dreamy mix of French quotes and their English translations (helping you brush up on the language while you scroll through your feed) and gorgeous shots of locations in France, from cafés in Paris only the locals know about, to sweeping shots of the French Riviera. You’ll want to book a trip on the the Eurostar ASAP.

RESTAURANT: Fare Bar & Canteen

The team behind immensely popular Hackney restaurant Sager + Wilde are set to open Fare Bar & Canteen off Old Street. The space will comprise countertop all-day dining as well as a cocktail bar, where all drinks will be served on tap, from nitro espresso martinis to gin and house-made tonics. Downstairs, an intimate bar and restaurant will explore lesser known dishes from the Mediterranean, alongside an extensive list of low-intervention bottles from boutique winemakers.

COLLECTION: Sleeper Black Tie Collection

Team SL fell hard for Sleeper's linen nightwear-as-daywear pieces in the summer, and their decadent winter offerings are proving they're no one-trick pony. We'll be ditching conventional party wear in favour of these feather-trimmed PJs this festive period: the slip dress has classic appeal, whilst top and bottom sets will carry you from the bar to the bedroom with stylish ease.

HOTEL: Heckfield Place

Recently hailed by The Sunday Times as 'Hotel of the Year', this beautiful Georgian mansion in Hampshire has been restored and relaunched to become 2018’s most talked-about place to stay. Sumptuously decorated bedrooms, 400-acres of grounds to explore, an all-natural spa and a new restaurant by Spring’s Skye Gyngell make this a must-visit for special occasions. In fact, we've heard such good things that SL founder Georgie Coleridge Cole is due to take a visit later this month...

COAT: Mango Comitted

Fashion with a conscience is the holy grail, and we love seeing the high street make an effort to be more sustainable. The Committed collection is an initiative launched by Mango earlier this year, which seeks to reduce the environmental impact of fast fashion by focusing on organic materials and sustainable production – and with luxe offerings like this cream coat available, there's no excuse not to shop now.

EXHIBITION: Klimt/Schiele Drawings

The Royal Academy plays host to its most anticipated exhibition this month with a retrospective of Gustav Klimt and Egon Schiele. Offering intimate insights into their artistic relationship and differing creative processes, this collaboration with the Albertina Museum in Vienna marks the centenary of both artists’ deaths.

STORE: Anine Bing London

Whether you're already a fan of Anine Bing's classic-meets-rock 'n' roll style or not, her first UK store opening is big news. You can already shop your favourite pieces at her Harvey Nichols concession, but this is the first time the designer-cum-Instagram star is letting Brit girls in on her lust-worthy minimalist lifestyle; expect plenty of home inspo alongside dreamy, wearable fashion.

TREAT: Feelz by CHLOE

New York’s hippest vegan restaurant launched in London earlier this year, and now By Chloe is treating plant-based diners to yet another first – their range of ‘Feelz’: multi-coloured (and very Insta-worthy) sweet treats all containing CBD oil. Enjoy the health-boosting benefits as you tuck into CBD infused brownies, cupcakes, sprinkled cookies, cookie sandwiches and confetti cakes – and bring your dog along, as there are pooch-friendly peanut butter ‘bones’ on offer too.

ACCESSORY: Raey Shearling Wrap Scarf

MATCHESFASHION's Raey always delivers on classics with a twist, but it's their one-off killer pieces that seduce us every winter. Move aside, shearling coats – this season it's all about this statement wrap scarf. With its black bow detailing and pink shade it's an overdose of girly and we like it. It may be perfect over evening wear, but we'll be draping it over black polonecks for an impossibly chic update.
