THE GLASSWARE: Issy Granger

We love Issy Granger’s new collection of wine glasses. Handblown in clear borosilicate glass, the vessels feature the brand’s signature ‘pom’ bobble design in blue or green. With a low stem, but an intricate design, we can see these working well for both relaxed lunches or as part of a more elaborate tablescape.

We’re excited about Help, a new drama from Channel 4 starring Jodie Comer (Killing Eve) and Stephen Graham (Time). The Collab: Claire Rose X NA-KD

Online retailer NA-KD has swiftly become one of our favourites for directional fashion at affordable prices and its influencer edits are the easiest way to track down the best of what’s on site. Mega-blogger Claire Rose Cliteur is the latest to join the roster and unsurprisingly, the collab is full of pieces that look high end, but won’t break the bank – expect chunky knits, oversized coats and masculine tailoring that all reflect Claire Rose’s effortlessly chic style.

In this Academy Award nominee for best international feature film, Sam Ali – a young sensitive and impulsive Syrian – leaves his country for Lebanon to escape the war. For the price of being able to travel to Europe and live with the love of his life, he agrees to have his back tattooed by one of the world’s most famous contemporary artists. But by turning his body into a prestigious piece of art, Sam soon realises that his decision might mean anything but freedom, as collectors soon become interested in this one-off work of art.

THE FRAGRANCE: Frau Tonis

Frau Tonis Parfum was founded by Stefanie Hanssen in 2009 after she couldn’t find the fragrance she was looking for. Since then, she’s created a range of unisex and combinable scents. Of the brand’s newest launches, we love Bogota Berlin, which combines figs and bergamot with the spicy aromas of cedar and vetiver. Ideal for autumn.

THE INITIATIVE: Sienna Miller X Second Hand September

Actress Sienna Miller fronts this year’s #SecondHandSeptember campaign, aiming to raise awareness of the negative impact of fast fashion and inspiring people to do their bit for the planet by shopping pre-loved. The campaign sees her styled by thrift aficionado, Bay Garnett, in second-hand Oxfam pieces that nod to vintage glamour. Speaking about her involvement in the initiative, Miller said: “I am delighted to be the face of Oxfam’s Second Hand September to help draw attention to how choosing second-hand fashion can be kinder for our planet. These small changes can make a huge difference.” Oxfam’s pop up store at Selfridges, curated by Garnett, returns this month – so be sure to head down to find something unique and sustainable.
