THE EVENING WEAR:

Standing Ground

Last year saw the launch of Michael Stewart’s debut line, Standing Ground. Irish born Stewart studied fashion at Limerick School of Art & Design before finding support through Fashion East’s talent-incubator programme. Today, Stewart’s evening wear is known for its beautifully feminine, avant-garde details. The designer’s SS24 collection includes elegant silhouettes, clever drapery and padded details, all transformed into elegant and sculptural silhouettes in a subdued colour palette. Definitely one to watch for 2024.

THE BEAUTY LAUNCH:

Fara Homidi

New York-based make-up artist Fara Homidi has already made a splash in the beauty industry, leading last year’s Miu Miu spring campaign and working on Victoria Beckham’s runway shows in October. Her first beauty line blends her distinctive approach to clean luxury beauty with her professional expertise in colour theory and formula. Packaging is sleek and refillable, while the make-up bag, or pochette, could easily be mistaken for a stylish clutch. The debut collection is concise, featuring creamy lip pencils and compacts – we’re excited to see what else comes this year.

THE DESTINATION:

The Village at Beaverbrook

Beaverbrook has opened new accommodation at its Surrey site. In the extensive woodlands of the estate, The Village has 21 guest rooms, housed across a collection of ten cottages, as well as a new restaurant. The luxury suites are named after literary and artistic giants of the Romantic period, and the Victorian and Edwardian era, with each room offering its own personality and charm. Within 55 acres of walled garden, most impressive is The Dower House, which has a private swimming pool, helipad, studio and spa treatment room as well as an Aston Martin.

THE DRINK:

Nooh

Nooh is a new non-alcoholic sparkling rosé created by the award-winning winemakers at Château La Coste in Provence. Typically, non-alcoholic drinks are made with acidic fruits such as grapefruit to mimic the taste of alcohol. Nooh is made from the estate’s bestselling organic rosé wine, from which the alcohol is then removed. The first release of Nooh is a sparkling rosé, created for those looking to celebrate with a premium sparkling wine without the alcohol. A still Provence rosé is set for release in the spring.

THE CAMPAIGN:

Pamela Anderson X Proenza Schouler

It was at last year's Paris Fashion Week that Pamela Anderson went viral for her flawless – albeit controversial – no-make-up look. Continuing her evolution from 90s-Y2K icon to a chic minimalist, she’s fronting a new fashion campaign for luxury brand Proenza Schouler. The 56-year-old has been captured by photographer Davit Giorgadze in a series of pictures wearing pieces from the brand's SS24 collection. Known for its contemporary, cool and edgy fashion, Proenza's latest collection includes a netted maxi dress, white blazer and bleached denim.

THE COFFEE TABLE BOOK:

Fluid by Harris Reed

Fluid is the first book on the revolutionary fashion designer Harris Reed, whose pieces have been worn by Harry Styles, Adele, Iman and Beyoncé. His pieces have generated instantly iconic cultural moments, pushing conversations about gender expression into the mainstream. Harris’s work constantly disrupts the divide between men's and women's clothing. With stunning photography, resplendent fashion and illustrations of Reed’s design process, Fluid shows this – and takes readers beyond the idea of clothes as mere garments.
