5 New Interiors Brands To Have On Your Radar

The interiors world is awash with brands offering hundreds of new products, many of which are immaculately designed and consciously executed. From hand-painted lampshades to sculptural ceramics, here are five new names which have caught our eye.

The Colombia Collective

In 2019, architect Kate Wrigley spent some time living in Colombia while working for the Mayor of Bogota. During her time there, she travelled around the Caribbean coast, visiting some of the country’s most notable artisans to dig deeper into their incredible craftsmanship. Determined to share their stories and the pieces she found along the way, today The Colombia Collective works with over 800 artisans from 14 different communities – each of which uses their own culture, identity and story to inform their work. We love the woven bowls.

Olive & Co

Founded in 2021 by Amelia Duncan and Milly Simmonds, Olive & Co is a tableware brand based West London. Having spent some time event styling, the pair discovered many of their clients wanted to purchase the products they used, so the two decided to launch their own collection. The result is a mix of collaborations with independent artisans, as well as their own designs, all of which takes a sustainable approach and puts locally sourced products at the forefront. From delicate glass candlesticks to handmade serving platters, Iraqi palm placemats to hand-painted candles, the range is both thoughtful and individual.

Mari Masot

Mari Masot is the ceramics line made by American-born artist and designer Marissa McInturff. With a background in architecture and food styling, Marissa started working with clay in 2016 and is based out of her her studio in Barcelona’s Poblenou neighbourhood. Producing small batches by hand, Marissa strikes a balance between the traditional nature of the medium and the industrial and architectural influences of her designs. Her ceramic pots in muted colours are both sculptural and practical, and we love their roughly textured finish. Also available at Liberty London.

Imogen Heath

British textile designer Imogen Heath celebrates pattern, colour and beautifully crafted textiles in her range of fabrics and embroidered linens. Her range of ‘passementerie’ (embroidered borders and trims) is specifically what caught our attention – using bold geometric patterns in a variety of earthy or pastel colours, the range has a retro aesthetic that feels equally fresh and contemporary as it does nostalgic.
