Jaques Adnet Trolley, £2,800

For a more masculine take on a drinks trolley, this Jaques Adnet design, sourced by one of our favourite interior designers Albion Nord, is perfect. Made from dark, worn leather with burnished brass accents, it would be right at home in a members’ club lounge, but we love how it’s styled here against a minimal cream scheme as an anchoring black accent.

Compton Chest Of Drawers, £1,895

This beautiful and practical antique-style chest of drawers is made from solid elm timbers with imperfect distressed paintwork. We love the circular detailing and warm shabby finish. Ideal for any room in the house, we'd style this eye-catching piece in a dining room and use it to store placemats and napkins.

Eclectic Chest Of Drawers, £495

Continental in style, this chest of drawers has been repainted in a chalk white finish and has decorative brassware. With three generous drawers, it would be ideal in a child's bedroom or as a storage space for bedlinen.

Vintage 1970s Oval Travertine Dining Table With Fluted Base, £2,600

It's the fluted base that makes this dining table such a standout and the curved, bullnose profile gives it a feminine quality too. Use it to soften an angular dining space, or even as a meeting desk in an office. Match it with upholstered or cane dining chairs to complete the look.

The well-shaped cabriole legs are capped with brass casters and the top has attractive mahogany banding and a nicely worn leather insert – plus, all the brass handles are original. Ideal as a dressing table or petite writing desk.

Late 19th Century French Daybed, £1,325

This charming daybed has been newly upholstered with a booster pillow in a crisp ticking fabric. The piece would look chic in a bedroom or in a window, or if you have a wide hallway, it could work perfectly there. Handily, it comes apart into three pieces and can be flat packed and sent internationally.

Walnut Commode With Marble Top, £1,400

A strong, statement piece, this fine Louis Philippe walnut commode has book-matched veneer on the front drawers, a St Ann grey marble top and fixed keys. There are a few age-related dents – to be expected as it dates back to c.1830. Perfect for a living space with a drinks tray on top.

Set of 2 1960s Bamboo Armchairs, £2,555

This set of rattan bamboo armchairs were made in the 1960s. The cushions have been completely reupholstered and there is a great patina to the bamboo. The perfect way to bring texture and warmth into a neutral scheme.

Pair Of Buttoned Stools, £1,400

For a traditional touch, you can’t beat brown furniture and an upholstered stool is the perfect option for those who want a little rather than a lot. The deep buttoning on these stools contrasts nicely with the rustic linen fabric, while the rich mahogany legs offer a bit of elegance.

19th Century French Vitrine Cabinet, £3,200

This French neo-classical display cabinet has an attractive arch and pillar detailing. With numerous painted shelves and useful drawers, we love the contrast of the linear shelving with the architectural details of the moulding. It can also be wall-mounted.

19th Century Spanish Desks, £770 Per Item

These antique bobbin-legged tables are mid-19th century. Typical of smart houses of the period, they would have been used as bases for Barqueno chests holding writing equipment and jewellery. The tops have seen better days, so they've been covered with Colefax & Fowler fabric.

Pair Of Napoleon III Buttoned Curve Back Armchairs, £1,595

These attractive buttoned tub chairs have a great shape to them, which is then emphasised by the dark cabriole legs. All Tallboy Interiors armchairs are fully restored, including the springs, legs and padding – so they’re guaranteed to stand the test of time.
