Cane Bookshelves

This pair of mid-century cane-wrapped bookcases with woven cane shelves are generous in proportion, measuring 2m high and over 2.5m wide. The base and top of the units feature the same lattice frieze, all stained in a rich coffee tone.

Lounge Chair

This Alky chair was designed by Giancarlo Piretti in the 1960s for Anonima Castelli. Multifunctional and modular, the shape of the chair is created by securing foam directly onto the metal frame with elastic bands, ensuring both comfort and stability.

Bamboo Bench

Ideal for a hallway, this simple bamboo bench is the perfect place to store your footwear, or you can sit on it when you’re getting ready. The timeless yet contemporary silhouette would work in several house styles – the natural, organic structure will ground any space.

Scalloped Tray Table

This beautiful vintage oval tray table with scalloped edges and brass handles would make a great low side table. It has a few signs of wear, including a small mark on the tray table, but nothing that affects the positioning or stability.

Metal Stools

This exquisite set of metal stools, which could also be used as side tables, date from around 1960. Handcrafted in Spain, with an elegant tripod base and characterful patina to the gilt surface, they would work in any number of spaces.

Bamboo-Legged Chair

This Victorian, bamboo-legged bedroom chair is charming and quirky. Recently upholstered in Zak & Fox fabric, it’s a sweet piece that would make a lovely addition to a bedroom or dressing room.

Cupboard Bookcase

Ideal against a kitchen wall, this large glazed Scottish four-door bookcase is from 1890. It’s been repainted with a dark grey finish and cream interior, making it suitable for a Shaker-style kitchen – or you could use it to add contrast to a more modern setting.

Console Table

This fine Swedish console table is finished in a pale blue grey wash and has a useful single drawer, slender hand-carved flutes to the legs and dainty proportions that make it ideal for a narrow hallway.

Pair of Occasional Chairs

Ideal for a bedroom corner, on a landing or even in a bathroom, this matched pair of antique faux rosewood chairs are in good condition with excellent cane work. The slim legs and gently curved backs will inject lots of character into a room.

Coffee Table

Dating from around 1950, this French coffee table from Maison Baguès has gilt-bronze faux bamboo legs and a green marble top. There’s so much texture and interest in the tabletop, it’ll be a real talking point in your living room.

Marble Fireplace

This antique Louis XVI-style marble fireplace dates to the 19th century. It has a panelled frieze centred by a broad oval patera (the bowl-shaped feature), with further paterae to each corner block, and stands on block feet.

Farmhouse Table

This 19th-century dining table has solid but shapely carved legs and add-on extensions – it can seat up to 12 people at full length. In soft pale oak, it’s a strong piece that feels rustic and elegant at the same time.
